'Outrageous lies': Laura Loomer unleashes brutal takedown of Milo Yiannopoulos' dramatic ICE story

WASHINGTON,DC: Laura Loomer, on Tuesday, September 1, accused conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos of making false and fabricated claims about his recent ICE detention, directly disputing several details he shared during an interview with Piers Morgan.

Yiannopoulos appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored in an episode aired Tuesday, where he described his arrest and subsequent deportation.

Loomer swiftly challenged key parts of his account, calling for the release of ICE bodycam footage to determine what actually happened.

Loomer challenges Milo’s detention story

Loomer’s response zeroed in on some of the most dramatic allegations Yiannopoulos made during his interview.

In a post on X, she opened with a blunt accusation: “Milo is lying.”

Loomer said she had reached out to sources at the Department of Homeland Security, who told her Yiannopoulos’ claim that multiple ICE agents refused to detain him was “completely fabricated.”

During his interview with Morgan, Yiannopoulos claimed that “15 agents swarmed me at the Louisiana airport” when he was detained, later alleging that two agents recognized him and “walked off the job.”

Loomer directly challenged that version of events, saying she wanted DHS and ICE to release the bodycam footage.

“I look forward to DHS and ICE releasing the body cam footage so everyone can see what a pathological liar Milo is,” she wrote.

She also questioned another notable part of Yiannopoulos’ account: his claim that ICE agents transporting him to Houston were receiving repeated calls from Washington.

Loomer dismissed the allegation as “absurd,” questioning how Yiannopoulos could have known who was calling while he was being held in custody.

Milo details ICE detention

Speaking to Piers Morgan, Yiannopoulos described his detention as a chaotic and frightening ordeal.

He said the confrontation at the airport began when “15 agents swarmed me at the Louisiana airport,” adding that “it didn’t get any less theatrical from there on.”

Yiannopoulos claimed he was left without basic necessities and said promises of a nurse and a phone call were never fulfilled.

He also recounted being transferred between detention and correctional facilities as lawyers struggled to determine where he was being held.

Yiannopoulos further alleged that ICE agents transporting him to Houston told him they were receiving calls from Washington every 20 minutes.

He also claimed that two ICE agents “walked off the job” rather than participate in his detention after recognizing him.

Yiannopoulos was detained by ICE at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport on August 27 and deported to the UK the following day.

The Department of Homeland Security said he had overstayed his visa and failed to appear for an immigration hearing.
