WASHINGTON, DC: Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday, February 11, called Ranking Member Jamie Raskin a “washed-up, loser lawyer” during a tense hearing about the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.

The attorney general dismissed criticisms regarding the release of the "Epstein files," asserting that the Department of Justice is focused on the law rather than political theatrics.

The hearing turned into a major clash when Jamie Raskin claimed that Pam Bondi was ignoring victims of h*man t*afficking.

Raskin told her, “Whether it’s Epstein’s h*man t*afficking ring or the homicidal government violence against citizens in Minneapolis, as attorney general you’re siding with the perpetrators and you’re ignoring the victims.”

Bondi did not back down, arguing that Democrats only care about the issue because Donald Trump is in power.

When Raskin tried to cut her off and told her he had warned her, Bondi responded sharply, saying, “You don’t tell me anything.” She then mocked his legal background, calling him a “washed-up, loser lawyer, not even a lawyer.”

Pam Bondi challenges Jerry Nadler over 2016 claims

Bondi used the hearing to highlight what she described as double standards by committee members who have spent years criticizing President Trump.

She specifically pointed to Rep Jerry Nadler’s past claims about the 2016 election. “You said the president conspired, sought foreign interference in the 2016 election. Robert Mueller found no evidence, none, of foreign interference in 2016. Have you apologized to President Trump?” she asked.

Bondi told the room that the era of attacking the president without a response was over, stating, “You all should be apologizing. You sit here and you criticise the president, and I am not going to have it. I’m not going to put up with it.”

She also noted that Democrats never asked former Attorney General Merrick Garland about Epstein during his four years in office.

Even when facing criticism from Rep Thomas Massie and Democrats about how the "Epstein files" were released, Bondi stayed focused rather than engaging in those exchanges.

When Rep Pramila Jayapal asked victims in the room to stand up if they “had not been able to meet with this Department of Justice,” Bondi refused to participate, saying, “I’m not going to get in the gutter for her theatrics.”

Regarding the millions of pages of documents, Bondi made it clear that the Department of Justice would correct any mistakes in the files.

She promised, “If any man’s name was redacted that should not have been, we will of course unredact it. If a victim’s name was unredacted, please bring it to us, and we will redact it.”
