MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Michael Cohen, the former attorney of Donald Trump, is reportedly in talks to create a television show that would make use of the renewed attention garnered by the former President's recent legal troubles.

Tentatively titled ‘The Fixer', the show would draw on Cohen's experience as Trump's no-nonsense legal representative and would feature him being placed in various business and other situations in which he would "fix" the problems that arise.

While the television show was inspired by Trump's reality television show ‘The Apprentice', it is still in “a very early stage,” with Cohen himself, confirming the premise of the show.

“Somebody came up with the concept and we shot a three minute teaser for it,” Cohen claimed.

Michael Cohen is reportedly collaborating with Colin Whelan, a seasoned producer at Conveyor Media, according to the New York Post.

Whelan has previously directed and produced several noteworthy shows such as ‘Joe Exotic: Tigers, Lies and Cover-Up’ for Investigation Discovery, ‘Cooking On High’ for Netflix, and ‘Bargain Mansions’ for HGTV.

“He’s part of that whole team out there shopping it,” Cohen stated about Whelan.

However, when reporters reached out to Whelan, he objected to Cohen’s admission, claiming, “We’re all not really working together any longer.”

Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison in 2018 for pleading guilty to charges of campaign finance fraud and tax evasion.

He is currently involved in Trump's hush money criminal trial in Manhattan.

Cohen played a crucial role in arranging alleged hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign to prevent her from revealing her alleged affair with Donald Trump, according to authorities.

Trump has consistently denied both the affair and any wrongdoing.
