WASHINGTON, DC: Michael Cohen, the former attorney for Donald Trump, called it 'comical' that the former president was complaining about his hush money trial possibly keeping him from Barron Trump's high school graduation, as per HuffPost.

Notably, conservatives are outraged by Trump's dishonest spinning of Judge Juan Merchan's comment that he should wait to decide whether to postpone court until May 17 for the event, implying that he has most certainly been barred.

However, Cohen made it clear that he 'didn't know' that Trump had attended the graduations of Donald Trump Jr., Tiffany Trump, Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump.

Cohen said during the MeidasTouch Network’s 'Political Beatdown' podcast, "I find it not just comical, right, but I find it insulting that that’s the big issue. I missed my 25th anniversary and my wife’s 50th birthday because I was in Otisville, in part because of things that I had done at the direction of and for the benefit of Donald Trump."

He added, "So, before I start shedding a tear for him, for Barron, and, I’m sure Melania is extremely excited he’s not going to be there. Rest assured I’m not losing any sleep nor am I going to shed a tear that Trump can’t go to Barron’s graduation."

Notably, Cohen is expected to be a prominent witness in Trump's trial, which started on Monday, April 15, and is focused on claims that Trump bought Stormy Daniels' quiet about their alleged romance by paying hush money before the 2016 election.

Trump's former right-hand man received a three-year jail term for crimes including lying to Congress, violating campaign finance laws, and other offenses connected to the payments.

Internet has mixed reactions after Michael Cohen's statement

Internet users gave mixed reactions as Michael Cohen called it 'comical' that Trump was complaining about his hush money trial possibly keeping him from Barron Trump's high school graduation.

A user wrote on X, "Another big lie no decision has been made on the graduation. Lie after lie" while one added, "Class of 2020 and some of 2021 didn’t even get to have graduations. His kid is getting to graduate and it can be videotaped."

A person added, "I've been saying he probably didn't go to any of his kids graduations either. We'd have seen the pics. He never misses an opportunity" whereas one mentioned, "I saw a picture of Marla, Tiffany & him at hers, so he must have went to one...."

A user also stated, "He went Ivanka's graduation. The others I don't know, Cohen should know this" while one wrote, "Worst father and husband ever born!"
