WASHINGTON, DC: Senator Raphael Warnock faced people’s wrath online after he supported President Joe Biden despite his reported below-average performance during the presidential debate last week.

Warnock told NBC News on Sunday, June 30, “Bad debates happen, as [former] President [Barack] Obama has said. And this was 90 minutes.”

The 54-year-old politician also went on to attack Donald Trump as he stated, “But let me tell you about that 90 minutes. Donald Trump lied the entire 90 minutes.”

Calling the 45th President “a pathological liar” and “a malignant narcissist,” Warnock shared, “Our country is better than that.”

“I think the American people sitting around their kitchen tables this morning are asking, ‘Who cares? Who’s thinking about me?’ And we have no proof that Donald Trump has ever thought about anybody other than himself,” he mentioned.

Warnock added, “I’m going to do everything I can to make sure we elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

Joe Biden brought up Donald Trump’s hush money trial during debate

On June 27, Joe Biden and Donald Trump came face to face to defend themselves against each other.

They also reportedly threw dirt at one another with the current commander-in-chief even telling his predecessor, “Having sex with a porn star, on the night [...] while your wife was pregnant. I mean, what are you talking about? [...] You have the morals of an alley cat.”

But despite this, many including a few Democrats have expressed their concern toward Biden as he appeared lost and tired several times during the debate. Biden justified his Presidential debate performance

The 81-year-old Democrat also addresses the issue at a Saturday, June 30, fundraiser in East Hampton, New York.

“I understand the concern about the debate — I get it. I didn’t have a great night, [but] voters had a different reaction,” Biden said, before asserting, “Since the debate, the polls show a little movement, moved us up actually.”

He added, “And by the way, the Times had their editorial, and guess what? They also point out [Trump] lied 28 times in a matter of 90 minutes. It’s pretty good. The big takeaway were his lies.”

Raphael Warnock slammed for supporting Biden

Meanwhile, people have expressed their thoughts on Raphael Warnock’s statement.

One person reportedly commented in an article, “If you are seriously defending someone who cannot function independently or find his way off the stage by himself, let alone meet the basic competency requirements of being POTUS, instead of calling for a replacement candidate, you need to sit down.”

Another said, “Not only did the American people see the debate but so did our allies and our enemies....let that sink in.”

One individual shared, “They keep saying ‘things are better under Biden’. Please give examples… I can’t think of any, but I’m open to hearing the list.”

One person stated, “Another subscriber to the new mantra. ‘Biden had a bad night.’ Warnock is lying through his teeth, openly, boldly, and proudly because he thinks his cause is just. Warnock and his activist pals know Biden will retire if re-elected, and they want a President Harris.”

“Attacking Trump is easy, there are so many things to attack.  However, try as you might, nothing can make the 48 million people who watched the disaster of a debate unsee what they saw with their own eyes, and heard with their own ears. President Biden has the mental capacity of an amoeba, that was quite clear. Attack Trump, attack the moderators, lie to us that we didn't see what we saw with our own eyes and heard with our own ears, nothing can make the people who watched the debate unsee what they saw,” another person added.
