NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: During his May 15 monologue on the 'Tonight Show,' Jimmy Fallon seized the opportunity to showcase his Trump impression while addressing the two upcoming presidential debates with a wellspring of comedic material.

Fallon highlighted that both Biden and Trump campaigns have officially confirmed their participation in a minimum of two debates, each with unique characteristics compared to traditional formats, as per NBC News.

Jimmy Fallon teases historic early bird presidential debate

The host began his monologue saying, "President Biden challenged former President Trump to two debates, and Trump accepted. Yeah, Trump agreed to the debate."

Donning his Trump-voice, he then said, “‘I’ll be there, assuming it’s OK with my parole officer.’”

Reportedly, CNN has been selected as the moderator after Trump's agreement to participate in the initial debate, featuring Jake Tapper and Dana Bash as co-moderators.

In that light, Fallon joked, “The first debate will be next month, which is the earliest a presidential debate has ever been. And if we’re being honest, an early bird debate feels right for these guys."

Fallon continued, “Yep, Biden and Trump will meet June 27 on CNN, and one of Biden’s debate conditions was not having an audience. So that explains why it’s on CNN.”

The second debate in September will be hosted by ABC News, with David Muir and Linsey Davis as co-moderators.

Jimmy Fallon's humorous take on Biden's debate conditions

Fox News reported that Biden's team proposed the two debates and outlined specific rules.

Fallon took a moment to say, “Another condition from Biden is that he wants microphones that automatically cut off when a candidate hits their time limit."

He then added, “Which will work, right up until Trump walks over to Biden’s podium: ‘That’s why, as I was saying over there, more wall…’”

Another contidion that was put forth by Biden's team is that there will be firm time limits for answers and alternating turns for speaking.

Fallon continued his quips, saying, “Biden and Trump also accepted an invitation from ABC to debate on September 10, and the winner will have the option of being president or the next ‘Golden Bachelor’”.

“Tough call," he added.

Fallon also praised Michael Cohen for his testimony in the ongoing hush money trial, where he referred to Trump as a "Cheeto-dusted cartoon villain."

The comedian then offered some alternative descriptions, including "a shaved Lorax, a rejected mascot for Velveeta, Thick Nolte, a baby with a toupee, and an Oompa Loser."
