President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for the Secretary of Health and Human Services went to an Equinox gym in New York City in "tight jeans and hiking boots," reported Page Six. The video was shared by RFK Jr on Instagram.

A fit source told the outlet, "He works out really hard, lifting weights and he does the treadmill. He wears tight jeans."

Moreover, RFK Jr's unusual exercise attire caused quite a stir at the workout place, particularly among younger gymgoers who didn’t recognize the politician, per the outlet.

An insider said, "Some people didn’t know who he was, and were like, ‘Who’s that older guy?' He looked like a construction worker in tight jeans and a T-shirt."

RFK Jr posted the video on Instagram and captioned it, "Practicing moves for my confirmation hearing."

A source told the outlet that Kennedy arrived at the Manhattan gym flanked by three security guards and members at the club were entertained, and chuckling, at the sight of him running on the treadmill in his hiking boots.

Notably, Trump has tapped RFK Jr to lead the Department of Health and Human Services, which is subject to Senate approval.

RFK Jr has vowed that he would clean up US diets and lifestyles. The decision could prompt a wider pivot to tackling conditions that have become some of the world's biggest killers.

A senior World Health Organization (WHO) source told the Telegraph that there was common ground with RFK Jr's proposed war on expanding waistlines and unhealthy lifestyles.

RFK Jr has said he will "Make America Healthy Again" by taking on powerful food companies that he blames for poisoning the American diet.

Moreover, during campaign speeches, he said he would crack down on addictive, ultra-processed foods "that are mass poisoning us and killing us and making us the sickest population in the world".

However, in November, RFK Jr was brutally trolled after a photo of Donald Trump, his son Trump Jr, Elon Musk, and RFK Jr enjoying a McDonald's meal went viral on social media.

Even though Don Jr confirmed the treat, Kennedy, who had long mobilized against processed foods and had pledged to "make America healthy again," was brutally slammed.

House Speaker Mike Johnson said, "I am not sure if I should say that, but I think [Kennedy] did actually eat some of the McDonald's."
