The reports coincided with numerous drone sightings in the country over the past two weeks, particularly in New York, New Jersey, and portions of Pennsylvania. However, the reports of a drone assassination attempt on Donald Trump on Saturday have not been verified.

Trump was accompanied by Vice President-elect JD Vance and other prominent Republicans, such as House Speaker Mike Johnson and defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, at the 125th Army-Navy football game at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.

Trump's "first buddy" Elon Musk also joined the former president. Navy won the game 31-13, reported Fox News.

The theories emerged as Trump, who attended the game to support the Army team, was seen in the VIP section, surrounded by security and military officials.

Some online commentators and conspiracy theorists suggested that a drone could be used to target Trump, noting that the event's high-profile nature would make it an ideal location for an assassination attempt.
