Ryan Reynolds appears in ‘The View’ audience with his mother as hosts joke ‘tell Blake to come on’
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Reynolds impressed not only his mother but fans alike after he accompanied Mama Reynolds to ‘The View’. The mother-and-son duo, however, did not enjoy the show from behind the table with the hosts.
The ‘Deadpool’ actor and his mother Tammy were rather part of the live studio audience.

Midway through the show, moderator Whoopi Goldberg left the audience surprised when she quipped, “You never know what’s going on here at ‘The View'."
She added, “You know, sometimes, you look up and you’re like, ‘Oh, this is really great.’ And then you look over and you go ‘Oh, snap! There’s Ryan Reynolds!’”
It was then that the camera focused on the Canadian-born actor and his mother sitting in the front row of the live studio audience, per The Wrap.

Reynolds was not at the talk show to promote his upcoming movie. Rather, it was an adorable family affair as the obedient son accompanied Tammy Reynolds who was keen to see the live recording of ‘The View’.
As the Marvel actor was asked about his thoughts on watching the filming, Reynolds quipped in his typical deadpan humor, “By the way, this is way less stressful than up there.”
He explained, “My mom is here visiting her grandkids, and yesterday she said, ‘It’s my dream to go to ‘The View.’ First off, I try to do what she says, because you don’t know what she’s capable of. Just unspeakable violence, my whole life.”
Reynolds went on to share that before coming to the show, he called the studio and told them, “I’m Blake’s husband.”

He further revealed that his mother is an ardent fan of the talk show, and never misses an episode. Even though she was watching the live recording, the episode that was on air was being recorded at home.
Alyssa Farah Griffin chimed in, “You’re welcome any time Mama Reynolds. You as well,” while making a gesture toward Ryan Reynolds. She added jokingly, “Tell Blake to come on!”
The Reynolds mother-son duo’s presence even excited the original guest of the show, comedian Jo Koy, who could not hold his excitement when he saw the actor and his mother. He shared that he actually knew Tammy from before and was happy to see her there.
In the end, Tammy was also rewarded for her loyal support to 'The View'. The hosts brought her on stage and asked her to utter Goldberg’s usual exit line, “Have a great day everybody, and take a little time to enjoy 'The View'.”
