‘We always wait for her to tell’: Ryan Reynolds teases that Taylor Swift could name their fourth child
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Reynolds popped into the 'Today' show on Monday, May 13 morning to talk about his role in director John Krasinski’s new animated movie 'IF' which is about imaginary friends. Additionally, the actor spilled some details on what he and his wife Blake Lively name their fourth child.
When asked by 'Today' hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, Reynolds joked that the only person who might know the baby’s name is the world’s biggest pop star -- Taylor Swift.

Guthrie jokingly begged Reynolds to cough up the name by asking him, “Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics… Is the fourth child’s name, the baby’s name, anywhere on the record?”
Naturally, that record is Swift's massively successful 'The Tortured Poets Department' and Reynolds, who is renowned for his dry humor and deadpan remarks, said right away, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be. And we’ll say this: we’re still waiting.”

Teasing that Swift is clearly a prolific writer, Reynolds sarcastically said, “What are we doing here?”
Not to forget, with Swift having previously revealed the names of her A-list friends' other three children in the song 'Betty' from 2020's Grammy-winning 'Folklore', Reynolds has good reason to wait for her approval.

That song name-checks the couple’s third child in the title, their daughter Betty, 4 in addition to older sisters Inez, 7, and James, 9.
In 2023, at a May stop on her Eras Tour in Philadelphia, Swift shouted out the couple’s first-born trio while performing 'All Too Well' at Philly’s Lincoln Financial Field.
Lively and Reynolds welcomed their fourth in February 2023, but have not discussed the baby’s name and gender publicly yet.

Fans were quick enough to make some guesses. One user wrote on YouTube, "It can be Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus."
Another added, "Sarah! From ‘but daddy I love him.’"
One person said, "Ryan and Blake love Taylor."
Another added, "I think it's Robin!" One person asked, "Would it be Peter?"
Another said, "It can be Clara Bow or Wendy." One gushed over the couple and said, "I love him. Him and Blake are incredible together."
