Taylor Swift's 'The Tortured Poets Department': All the celebs the singer name-drops in latest album
All the celebrities Taylor Swift mentions in her ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album
Taylor Swift's much-anticipated album 'The Tortured Poets Department' has finally dropped amid much fanfare. However, Swift has ensured this time that her fans' happiness is doubled as within hours of dropping the first album, she dropped 15 more songs under the title 'Anthology'. While the 'Lavender Haze' singer has given her fans much joy after dropping a large volume of music, she has also ensured a little work for the Swifties. Throughout her double album, the 14-time Grammy-winning megastar has mentioned the names of a few artists. While the songstress has mostly praised past and contemporary fellow artists, you will find one celebrity who is not in the good books of Taylor Swift.
1. Dylan Thomas
Taylor Swift mentions the poet Dylan Thomas as she sings about a past conversation between her and a former lover in the title track of the album. As she recalls a moment when both of them were comparing themselves to great artists, she referred to the Welsh poet while telling her lover, "I laughed in your face and said, 'You're not Dylan Thomas'," per People.

2. Stevie Nicks
Swift pays a special tribute to the singer and songwriter Stevie Nicks as she sings in her track 'Clara Bow', “You look like Stevie Nicks in '75 / The hair and lips / The crowd goes wild at her fingertips / Half moonshinе, a full eclipse.”
3. Patti Smith
In the 'Tortured Poets Department', when Swift is saying her lover is not Dylan Thomas, she also sings, “I'm not Patti Smith. This ain't the Chelsea Hotel. We're modern idiots," referring to the stalwart of punk rock who successfully amalgamates poetry and music.
4. Clara Bow
Swift has dedicated one of her tracks entirely to the silent era actress Clara Bow who rose to fame in the 1920s. In the titular song 'Clara Bow', Swift pays tribute to the late star while talking about the intense scrutiny both of them received under the spotlight, as she sings, “You look like Clara Bow / In this light, remarkable / All your life, did you know / You'd be picked like a rose?”
5. Charlie Puth
Charlie Puth is another artist who received hearty praise from the 'Lover' singer. In the title track, she reminisces about a past conversation with a former lover when both of them agreed that Charlie Puth should receive greater stardom. Giving seemingly a shoutout to Puth, Swift notes in the lyrics, “Charlie Puth should be a bigger artist.”
6. Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian, though doesn't get a proper name-dropping, appears to have been shaded by the billionaire songstress. In one of her tracks 'thanK you aIMee', Swift makes it a point to highlight the letters 'KIM' to ensure her fans get the point. In the song, Aimee is a school bully who created trouble for the crooner in high school. Swift sings in the song, “All that time you were throwin’ punches, I was buildin’ somethin’ / And I can’t forgive the way you made me feel / Screamed ‘F**k you, Aimee’ to the night sky, as the blood was gushin'/But I can’t forget the way you made me heal,” referring allegedly to the tiff between Swift with Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West.
7. Jack Antonoff
In one song, which many fans believe to be about Swift's ex, Matty Healy, Swift name-drops two of her closest friends and collaborators, Jack Antonoff and Lucy Dacus. She sings, “Sometimes I wonder if you’re gonna screw this up with me /But you told Lucy you’d kill yourself if I ever leave / And I had said that to Jack about you, so I felt seen."
8. Lucy Dacus
Swift refers to Lucy Dacus from Boygenius band, as she sings about her in the same song where she is allegedly dissing Matty Healy, saying, “Sometimes I wonder if you’re gonna screw this up with me / But you told Lucy you’d kill yourself if I ever leave.”
