Savanah Soto death: Doorbell footage shows pregnant Texas teen and her boyfriend before being shot dead

LEON VALLEY, TEXAS: New footage from a doorbell camera shows pregnant teen Savanah Nicole Soto before she was fatally shot and found dead days later along with her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, who was also killed. 

For context, 18-year-old Soto and 22-year-old Guerra were reported missing on December 23 by police in Leon Valley, Texas, a few miles northwest of San Antonio. Their bodies were discovered a few days later with gunshot wounds to the head in a Kia Optima belonging to Guerra outside an apartment complex in the area.

New doorbell footage shows Soto before she was shot 

According to Mirror, it is unclear if the new TikTok video that emerged is linked to the couple's deaths, however, the social media users claim that it sheds light on what led to the murders.

A pickup truck can be seen pulling into a parking lot close to where the victims were discovered in an earlier surveillance footage release. Matthew's Kia Optima, where the gruesome find was later discovered, is seen coming in from the other direction and pulling up close to the first car. 

When Soto vanished, she was about to give birth any moment and was supposed to have an induced labor.

The new footage on TikTok got huge attention from netizens. A user wrote, "This complex isn't the same one the car was found at, correct? Savanah and Matthew lived in one complex, these ring footages are at one complex."

Another user wrote, "The neighbor with the door camera definitely done up and moved after all this!" To which, the creator said, "I don't think so.. she's still posting new door cam vids." 

One user wrote, "What if it was the person with the door camera and they are trying to turn it on them." To which, the creator replied, "Wow © you might be on to something.. great observation."

Another user said, "It sounded like he said that he was told to "drag em out" like they wouldn't leave their apt." 

Savanah Soto's grandmother mourns death of her granddaughter

Savanah Soto's family held a vigil for the 18-year-old and her unborn son in the same week they were expecting to welcome the baby into the world. Savanah had already picked the name Fabian for the boy.

In Savanah's honor, grieving family members released doves while gathering in Kenwood Park in San Antonio, Texas, wearing pink jackets. The murdered teen's grandmother Rachel Soto sat on the hilltop in the park where two trees had previously been planted in memory of Savanah's brother Ethan Soto, who was shot and killed two years ago.

Speaking to those who gathered to pay their respects, she said the people who did this to her granddaughter “have no heart” and are “cowards.”
