'Saving a scoop for you': Erika Kirk’s birthday tribute imagines Charlie’s sweetest moments in Heaven
WASHINGTON,DC: Erika Kirk, on Wednesday, marked what would have been her late husband Charlie Kirk’s 33rd birthday with a personal tribute recalling their life together.
The birthday, observed on October 14, brought tributes from his widow, the White House and political allies, as the criminal case over his September 2025 killing continues to move through the courts.
I thank God for your life. For the years He entrusted you to this earth…even though it didn’t deserve you. For the love that He allowed me to know so deeply as your wife. You always had a way of making even the ordinary moments in life feel like a glimpse of Heaven. And to that, and much more babe, I’ll forever celebrate you. How blessed I am that God gave me a once in a lifetime love that I will spend the rest of my life thanking Him for. I can’t even imagine how many scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream you’re having in Heaven since calories don’t count up there, but down here, we’ll still save a scoop for you. Happy birthday baby.

It’s an honor to be in Bullhead City today with my wife Cindy, surrounded by so many patriots as we await President Trump. I can’t help but think about how excited Charlie Kirk would be to have this rally in Arizona on his birthday. We miss you, Charlie. https://t.co/0OpWn0t2vq
