Timeline of Sebastian Rogers' disappearance

Sebastian, a 15-year-old autistic teen, vanished from his residence barefoot in the early hours of February 26, sparking an intensive search effort by authorities and volunteers, according to Daily Mail

Now, an analysis of home security video from the neighborhood captures two individuals with flashlights near the Rogers family's residence around 3.10 am on the day the teen went missing. As of now the identities of these individuals remain unknown.

The surveillance camera, positioned at the rear of the house, captured distinct light sources identified as 'Subject 1' and 'Subject 2'. Subject 1 is seen closer to the house, while Subject 2 briefly appears in the footage before moving toward Subject 1 and then disappearing behind bushes, as per NewsChannel 5.

Authorities have not confirmed whether one of the light sources corresponds to Sebastian. However, they believe the video provides compelling evidence that another person was present outside the teen's residence on the night of the teenager's disappearance.

Father of missing Sebastian Rogers highlights son's aversion to strangers

Sebastian's father, Seth Rogers, expressed uncertainty about his son getting into a stranger's vehicle. "It's up in the air for me. He would not get into a vehicle unless he knew them," claimed the father.

He emphasized his son's aversion to walking barefoot due to a childhood experience with fire ants, saying, "He decided he wanted to step into a mound of what he thought was dirt. It was fire ants, and since then he doesn't like to get his feet in the dirt. He likes to have his shoes and socks on."

Seth further noted, "With the information that I've gotten from Sumner County and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the fact that dogs aren't 100 percent they're not picking up his scent. One dog tracked him to a construction area over there and it just disappeared, and it's confusing. There are missing pieces to the puzzle, and I'm having difficulty solving this."

Despite extensive search efforts, including searches in nearby woods and a landfill in Hopkins County, Kentucky, Sebastian remains missing. However, with the discovery of this new surveillance footage, investigators are optimistic that they may be closer to uncovering the truth behind the 15-year-old's disappearance.
