Two female Secret Service officers caught punching each other outside Barack Obama’s home
The shocking video, shared by RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree, caught two uniformed female officers punching and shoving each other next to a white SUV outside Barack Obama’s home.
One of the women is recorded saying, “I need a supervisor out here... immediately before I whoop this girl’s a**” into her service radio.
The female officer who made the call was reportedly angered by her shift replacement being late to the duty and physically and verbally assaulted her when she eventually arrived, according to Daily Beast.
“The individuals involved were suspended from duty, and this matter is the subject of an internal investigation,” the Secret Service said in its statement.
“The Secret Service has a very strict code of conduct for all employees, and any behaviour that violates that code is unacceptable.”
“Given this is a personnel matter, we are not in a position to comment further,” the statement further added.
Kamala Harris’ Secret Service agent attacked a supervisor
This is just the latest alleged incident of bad behaviour in the Secret Service’s uniform ranks. In April 2024, a female agent assigned to then-Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from duty after she got into a physical fight with fellow agents.
According to sources, the officer, identified as Michelle Herczeg, arrived on duty acting erratically, snatching a fellow agent's phone and deleting applications from it.
She was reportedly mumbling to herself, hiding behind curtains, and throwing stuff at fellow agents, including menstruation pads, as per the Daily Mail.
Herczeg allegedly told her fellow agents that they would 'burn in hell and needed to listen to God.'
After Herczeg became enraged, the special agent in charge and a detail shift supervisor attempted to calm her down, but she tackled the Senior Agent in Charge of security detail and began striking him.
Although Herczeg was armed, her weapon remained in the holster until she was disarmed by her colleagues. She was handcuffed and removed from the terminal.
"The US Secret Service takes the safety and health of our employees very seriously. As this was a medical matter, we will not disclose any further details," Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement at that time.
The Secret Service has been under fire in recent years amid allegations of unprofessionalism and security failures.
These charges surfaced following President Donald Trump's near-assassination at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last July, which led to the departure of the agency's director, Kimberly Cheatle.
