WASHINGTON, DC: Senator Tommy Tuberville is heaping praise on President Donald Trump, calling him the hardest-working president in US history and claiming he sleeps only about two hours a night.

The first-term senator, who is now running for governor of Alabama, made the remarks during an appearance on Fox Business’s 'Kudlow' on Tuesday, February 24, where he applauded Trump’s record and work ethic.

Tommy Tuberville said President Donald Trump has achieved a lot because he works harder than anyone else. He said Trump does not get much help from Congress, even from some Republicans.

"We got the hardest-working president ever, ever. He’s not getting a lot of help from Congress, the House, or the Senate. Republicans either. We’ve done a little bit here."

Tuberville said there is still time to pass another bill. He claimed, "We should’ve done another reconciliation [bill] on healthcare before the first of the year. We didn’t do it for some reason."

He emphasized, "We have another one we can do. All it takes is a little bit of work, but President Trump sleeps about two hours a day. He’s bound and determined not to just take care of the people, the taxpayers here, but as I said, the rest of the hemisphere."

He also praised Trump’s efforts involving Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela and his push to acquire Greenland from Denmark. Tuberville said Trump is handling most of the work himself, while Congress mainly focuses on approving nominees.

The senator added, "All the things he’s put together, he’s doing himself. Only thing we do is nominations, which we did break the rules so we do tranches of nominations to get them out because the Democrats were stalling and playing four quarters of basketball."

The senator also predicted that Trump would deliver a strong State of the Union speech later that night.

Civil rights activist Leo Terrell praised President Donald Trump as the 'greatest president,' saying the United States has become the 'hottest country' under his leadership. His comments came during a White House celebration marking 100 years of Black History Month, where Trump highlighted Black administration officials, rejected accusations of racism, and promised 'a century more' of success for African Americans.

During the event, Trump invited Terrell to speak, saying, “He's been my friend for a long time. Leo Terrell. There's no better. Come on up here, Leo. This guy. He says it like it is. I like Leo.”

Terrell thanked the president and praised his record, saying, “We are living under the administration of the greatest president in our lifetime. And we have the hottest country in our lifetime.” He credited Trump with fully funding historically Black colleges and universities, leading criminal justice reform, and supporting opportunity zones.

He concluded, “This country is at a crossroads and we have the right president at the right time. And if you want school choice like I know you do, President Trump wants it. If you want a law and order society and a secure border, President Trump wants that.”
