Internet agrees with 'The View' hosts as they lash out at 'dangerous' Kristi Noem over dog-killing fiasco
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a rare moment of bipartisan unity, both sides of the political aisle found themselves in agreement over the dog-killing controversy involving South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
The outrage stemmed from her shocking confession that she killed her 14-month-old puppy, Cricket, due to what she described as "aggressive behavior" in her forthcoming book, 'No Going Back: The Truth on What's Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward'.

During a segment on 'The View', the co-hosts discussed the controversy and condemned Noem, with Alyssa Farah Griffin stating, "If your dog is acting wrongly, it's because you're incompetent at training that dog... I want justice for Cricket."
'The View' co-hosts share their thoughts on South Dakota Gov Kristi Noem's puppy-killing fiasco
Co-host Sunny Hostin raised concerns about Noem's psychological state, suggesting, "The sign of a sociopath is someone who kills animals." Her remark reflected the deep-seated unease among viewers about the governor's actions and their potential implications.

As Hostin talked about Noem being a potential Donald Trump 2024 running mate, Ana Navarro interjected and said, "I hope he does pick her as a vice president so that we can all show up and protest against her with our puppies."
Navarro likened Noem's actions to those of Cruella de Vil, a villainous character from the Disney movie '101 Dalmatians', dubbing Noem "Governor Cruella."

She didn't miss the opportunity to take a dig at the MAGA figurehead, expressing, "If she hates and shoots untrainable dogs who are dangerous to anyone they come in contact with, Trump better be careful," before she gave a shoutout to Vice President Kamala Harris.
On the other hand, Sara Haines pointed out how Noem called the puppy "less than worthless as a hunting dog," highlighting the contradiction between the governor's actions and a dog's natural instincts.
Griffin, a former Trump aid, pointed out, "I think she thinks Trump was gonna think that it was tough of her. He'll think it's bizarre. He barely steps foot out of a country club."
While concluding the discussion, Whoopi Goldberg quipped, "And she better be careful because if a cat gets a hold of her -- cats are different. Cats don't play that."
'The View' fans call for accountability
'The View' fans took to the comment section of the video to share their thoughts regarding the controversy. One wrote, "She's a sociopath. This is why we need stronger laws to protect the lives and wellbeing of our companion animals."
Another said, "She could have brought the dog to the SPCA where it could have found a forever home," while a person added, "She’s a true psychopath. She didn’t even realize the majority of people would be disgusted by this."
"It sounds like Noem needed more home training than her dog," remarked someone else. One more comment read, "The Governor should be charged with animal cruelty. She is disgusting."
"I am feeling really sick right now. How low can someone get. Hurting a puppy. Killing a puppy because you find it less then useful as a hunting dog. All you had to do was return the puppy so a loving person , a family could find the dog sweet and healthy. No respect for her," expressed an individual.
