NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Kellyanne Conway, the former senior counselor in the Trump administration and a strong ally of Donald Trump is facing extensive criticism for a controversial comment where she mocked the Democrats being obsessed with abortions.

She made the bizarre comments during Fox News's 'Outnumbered' panel discussion on Wednesday, December 20.

"I just think the Democrats wake up every morning, and they look at the calendar on the iPhone, and it says January 6, 2021. The date never changes. And then they get into an electric vehicle and go get an abortion," Conway said.

Her snarky remarks came amidst her rebuking the Democart's support of the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling that barred Donald Trump as a candidate in the state's upcoming primary ballot in March 2024.

Kellyanne Conway's snarky description of the Democratic Party

The former Trump aide's attempt to defend her former boss came with disparaging remarks against the rival party and abortion.

"I just described the Democratic Party in 7 seconds. That's it. That's what I see. But it's always January 6," she added.

In the first presidential elections since the SCOTUS revoked Roe v Wade in 2022, restricting abortion access, the issue has become a core focus of Republicans and Democrats.

The leading Republican's take on abortion, as the individual states now have the right to rule on abortion access, has made several headlines recently.

For instance, the Texas SC ruling banning emergency abortion for a 21-week Dallas woman whose fetus had a fetal condition made many doubt the future of the country if Trump is elected in 2024. Similarly, another GOP contender, Vivek Ramaswamy, at the CNN Town Hall in Iowa on December 13, urged the SCOTUS to limit access to the abortion drug mifepristone in the country.

Similar to Conway mocking abortion, another Republican and Trump supporter, Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, baselessly claimed abortion caused staffing shortages in all sectors.

Despite the Republicans' anti-abortion stance, GOP Senator J D Vance in a recent interview warned that it may cost them elections if people consider the party as a group trying to snatch their rights.

Online outrage over Kellyanne Conway's remarks

Netizens are furious with Conway for making 'vile statements' labeling the Democrats as a party that promotes abortion. Some users even made witty remakes of her description of a Democrat's life, saying that they do "daily abortions."

One user remarked, "She's just an awful person."

Another user said, "Spoken like a woman who abuses her children."

"What a vile statement from a person with”alternative facts," added another user.

One user asked, "The woman is a disgrace. How does she face herself in the mirror."

"The word 'repugnant' is a marvelous word, and sometimes it just fits so perfectly. This is one of those times," read one reaction.

Another shared a meme pointing out that what Conway said was the most idiotic thing the user ever heard.

"Kellyanne’s thoughts are as irrelevant today as they were yesterday," stated another user.

Another user mocked the former Trump aide's comments, saying, "I don't even still have my uterus but I still go to my daily abortion appointments out of pure melancholy. Everybody Hurts, indeed..."

"Golly… what would I do without my daily abortion? It’s the only thing that gets my mind off my devout godlessness," read another remark.
