MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, a far-right politician, has been a headstrong opposer of women's right to abortion. The Congresswoman from Georgia has come up with the latest controversy irking pro-choice supporters as she blamed abortion for staffing shortages in all sectors.

"There are major staffing shortages reported in every sector from big companies to small businesses to police departments to air traffic control," she wrote on her X account. She added, "We have a population loss that is starting to show severe effects because over 63 million people have been murdered in the womb."

Greene was one among the Republican Party lawmakers who happily welcomed the Supreme Court move that revoked Roe v Wade in 2022.

Marjorie Taylor Greene always opposed abortion rights

There were multiple incidents when Greene made her opinion of abortion as a crime.

For Instance, in September, she interrupted a Democratic lawmaker who said, "Abortion is health care," and the GOP is being hypocritical about it. Greene cut off the representative and said, "It's murdering babies. It's murdering the unborn."

When the SCOTUS overturned Roe v Wade, she said, "Abortion is not part of our constitution."

A staunch supporter of former president Donald Trump, the 49-year-old lawmaker is also infamous as a conspiracy theorist.

She has promoted conspiracy theories, including the white genocide conspiracy theory,  QAnon, and Pizzagate, and has also promoted government involvement in the mass shootings in the country.

According to the US Chamber of Commerce, the COVID-19 pandemic led to a phenomenon called 'The Great Resignation' when "more than 50 million workers quit their jobs" in 2022.

And now netizens are roasting the Georgia Representative over her insensitive comparison of the staffing shortage and abortion. Many social media users criticized her for blaming abortion for the labor shortage instead of promoting migration.

One user said, "This woman is seriously ill."

Another user mocked the lawmaker and wrote, "Wow it's crazy how Marge is offering to raise and care for 63 million people so the US economy has enough workers. So selfless and brave."

A third user said, "Hmmmm, I know some people coming across the border that would love to fill those shortages we have."

"I didn't know my use as a woman is to give birth so there will be enough workers in the United States. She's so disgusting," read a woman's reaction.

One troll read," 'So we need to increase immigra--' 'NO! No we don't need *those* people!'"

Another asked, "Our planet is over populated, Marge Gee, what if we, now, hear me out, what if we let people migrate here as humans have always done?"

"Hmmm, how about starting to train the migrants that want to come to our country so badly?" asked another user
