NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Donald Trump Jr was roasted on social media for slurring his words during a recent interview with Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo, OK! Magazine reported on Friday, December 27.

A clip from Bartiromo's show 'Sunday Morning Futures' went viral on X (formerly Twitter), where she is seen asking Trump Jr his opinion on former Congressman Matt Gaetz, the initial pick of President-elect Donald Trump to serve as the Attorney General of the United States, facing pushback.

"I think a lot of them are going to face pushback for the same reason," replied Trump Jr. "Again, they are going to be actual disrupters. That's what the American people want, but the Washington DC doesn't want that."

Viewers were quick to call him out for slurring his a's and s's in his speech.

Donald Trump Jr has been previously accused of being on drugs

Donald Trump Jr is not new to facing allegations of being drunk and under the influence of controlled substances.

Back in November, the 46-year-old was accused of doing drugs at a SpaceX launch where he was in the company of his father Trump, and the company owner Elon Musk.

In footage from the event that went viral on social media, Trump Jr was seen putting his hand into his pocket and then quickly rubbing his fingers on his gums, thus sparking allegations of doing cocaine.

In 2020, his former girlfriend reportedly shared that the two "did drugs together," but noted that "cocaine was never one of them, he never showed any interest."

Internet trolls Donald Trump Jr for appearing drunk during interview

Netizens reacting to Donald Trump Jr's viral Fox News interview clip on X mocked him for slurring his words. The following tweets demonstrate the prevalent takes.

"Wow. A seemingly intoxicated Donald Trump Jr can’t get his words out and gets our nation’s capitol wrong by calling it 'Washington TC.' Is he drunk, high, or just stupid?" asked a user sharing the clip.

"I'm going to go with drunk, high AND very stupid!" replied another.

"If he were driving, this would be right about the time when the police officer asked him to step out of the car," quipped another.

"He’s so coked out omg," claimed a user.

"Give him a break. He's an insecure man/boy," jibed one user.
