WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump's estranged niece, Mary Trump, a psychologist, has once again brought attention to a "dangerous" trait she believes the former president has exhibited since childhood.

In a recent TikTok video, she elaborated on her uncle's long-standing inability to laugh at himself, a characteristic she deems concerning.

Mary, the daughter of Fred Trump Jr, the former POTUS' older brother, has frequently criticized her uncle, especially as he campaigns for the 2024 presidential election. She often shares her perspectives on his policies, legal troubles, and family history.

In her latest video, Mary describes a key aspect of Trump's personality that she observed from his early years, saying, "Even as a little kid, he was incapable of having a sense of humor about himself, which is really not great. Kids need to have that kind of resilience that he never had," as per Newsweek

She added, "But worse, seven decades later, he still does not have the ability to laugh at himself, which I think is a dangerous thing."

The former president's niece's remarks are related to a separate video where she narrated a childhood incident involving her uncle. According to Mary, her father once dumped a bowl of mashed potatoes over Trump's head to stop him from bothering their brother, Robert Trump.

While the rest of the family found the situation amusing, Trump did not. "Every single time, even six decades after the event itself occurred, Donald reacted exactly the same way. While everybody was laughing about it, he crossed his arms. And he pouted and he sulked until somebody changed the subject," recounted Mary.

Her video about the story, which first emerged online in 2021, went viral, garnering over 150,000 views by Tuesday, May 28.

Netizens react to Mary Trump's TikTok analysis of uncle Donald Trump

One wrote, "We know which trait Mary Trump is talking about her Uncle," attaching an image of a quote that read, "A narcissist wants the authority of a king while having the accountability of a toddler."

"Who’s Mary Trump?" asked a person, while someone else remarked, "Still giving that POS hater ad space, huh?" "She should get out more," read a comment.

An individual offered, "I’m sure her Grandfather adjusting his will and leaving the bulk of the estate inheritance to his 4 living children and not his grandchildren has nothing to do with her animosity toward her uncle at all."

"Someone wants attention," remarked another person.
