WASHINGTON DC: Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), the US Representative for Georgia's 14th district, is being mocked online after a video emerged of her having difficulty pronouncing the word "indictable" and reading a seven-digit number.

The blunder occurred on Tuesday, January 30, during a House Homeland Security Committee debate on whether Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should face impeachment over his handling of the US-Mexico border crisis, per Independent.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is facing impeachment accusations for allegedly refusing to comply with the law by releasing migrants awaiting legal proceedings and misleading lawmakers about the security of the US-Mexico border.

This development coincides with Texas' dispute with the Supreme Court over measures to curb illegal immigration.

Despite opposition from Democrats, the committee voted to impeach Mayorkas, and the articles of impeachment will now be reviewed by the House of Representatives.

While most House Republicans support the impeachment, Rep Greene who was ripped over misconstrued Somalia remarks, criticized eight party members who voted against it.

"This historical evidence is overwhelming that the Founding Fathers intended impeachment to be used to deal with the commission of 'in-dick-table' crimes and the abuse of power," she stated, mispronouncing "indictable".

She also read the seven digit number wrong.

A single mispronunciation transformed MTG's remark into a comical blunder.

A page named Really American took to X, formally known as Twitter, and shared a hilarious video of MTG's statements. They wrote, "There MUST be a higher bar. Stay in school, folks."

Another user trolled the Rep saying, "OMG "in-dick-table" But if I were her, I'd be mortified that she couldn't read that number properly, jeez. I know math is hard, but that doesn't even count as math. Wow. 2,437,856."

"I'm questioning either the education system or the established standards. They might need some reevaluation," joked another.
