BRYAN, TEXAS: A shocking incident unfolded in Texas, as a wife took drastic action upon allegedly discovering her husband with another woman.

Stephanie Arevalo, 34, was arrested by the Bryan Police Department after purportedly firing at her husband's leg in a fit of rage over the suspected infidelity.

Insights into the tragic shooting

The incident took place in the 4500 block of Woodbend Drive, situated between Conquest Circle and Creekwood Drive in Bryan.

Arevalo's actions allegedly resulted from catching her husband in the act with an unidentified woman.

While she reportedly threatened to shoot the woman as well, she ultimately chose not to do so, as per reports from KBTX.

After the shooting, Arevalo took the initiative to dial 911 herself and awaited the arrival of law enforcement at the scene.

Reportedly, she communicated to authorities that her husband deserved the injury he received and was fully aware of the consequences, suggesting a level of premeditation.

Denison purportedly punched her 34-year-old husband "in his left eye, resulting in a 'black eye,'" leading to her arrest and subsequent release.
