WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump advisor Steve Bannon attacked Elon Musk after he shared his plan to launch a new political party following his rift with Donald Trump.

The Tesla CEO had posted a poll on X while writing, “Independence Day is the perfect time to ask if you want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system! Should we create the America Party?”

In another post, he even elaborated that “one way to execute on this would be to laser-focus on just 2 or 3 Senate seats and 8 to 10 House districts.”

“Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people,” Musk added.

But the 71-year-old media executive lambasted him, calling him “Elmo the Mook”.

He said, “The foul, the buffoon. Elmo the Mook, formerly known as Elon Musk, Elmo the Mook. He’s today, in another smear, and this – only a foreigner could do this – think about it, he’s got up on, he’s got up on Twitter right now, a poll about starting an America Party, a non-American starting an America Party.”

The former investment banker did not stop there as he asked for Musk’s deportation.

“No, brother, you’re not an American. You’re a South African. We take enough time and prove the facts of that, you should be deported because it’s a crime of what you did – among many,” he added.

Soon Musk fired back at Bannon by labeling him as a “drunken slob”.

“The fat, drunken slob called Bannon will go back to prison and this time for a long time. He has a lifetime of crime to pay for,” the 54-year-old claimed.

This was not the first time Musk and Bannon, who was behind bars for four months for defying a subpoena in the congressional probe into the January 6 attack on the Capitol, got engaged in a fight.

Earlier this year, Bannon reportedly said of the world’s richest man, “They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately.”

At the time, Musk blasted back, saying, “Bannon is such a r*****d liar. Dumber than a doorstop. SpaceX revenue this year will be $15.5B and NASA is only $1.1B.”

“For that NASA revenue, SpaceX does all astronaut transport to the Space Station at roughly half the cost of Boeing, who thus far has failed to complete a single astronaut back and had to be rescued by SpaceX! It wasn’t some “gift”. If Bannon’s dumb as fuck reasoning made any sense, then anyone who bought products from any company would automatically own that company. Bannon is truly peak r****d,” he added.
