JOHNSON COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA: Ryan Fournier, 27, has been arrested on November 21 for allegedly grabbing a woman by her right arm and striking her in the forehead with a 9MM Sig Sauer P229 pistol, as per the records of Johnson County Magistrate.

The woman, who has reportedly been identified as Fournier’s girlfriend, suffered a minor injury in the alleged attack.

What are the charges against Ryan Fourier?

Fourier faces two misdemeanor charges, first for assault on a female, and second for assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the New York Post, he has been released on a bond set at $2,500 and is scheduled to appear in court on December 18.

What is Ryan Fourier known for?

During the presidential campaign of Donald Trump in 2016, Fourier co-founded the youth political group 'Students for Trump'. Back then he was a student at Campbell University.

In June 2020, the former President headlined a 'Students for Trump' event in Phoenix, Arizona.

Presently, the accused leads a group called Radical Alert, which proclaims to be “exposing” hate that has “taken over American college campuses.”

Another co-founder of 'Students for Trump' was previously imprisoned

John Lambert, who co-founded the group with Fourier, was convicted of posing as a lawyer to steal money from innocent victims. He was sentenced to 13 months in prison in May 2021.

Lambert pleaded guilty to wire fraud and was ordered to forfeit over $46,000. Additionally, he was ordered to pay more than $21,000 in restitution to his victims, reported the Post.
