Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun make relationship Instagram official with cozy monochrome photo
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Sydney Sweeney has stepped into the spotlight with a new chapter in her personal life, as she and Scooter Braun have now made their relationship public on Instagram.
The 'Immaculate' actor shared a photo of the two on her Instagram Story by reposting an image taken by photographer Eddy Chen.
This public reveal comes after months of speculation about their relationship. It also follows Sweeney’s earlier split from her former fiance, Jonathan Davino, after their long-term relationship of nearly 7 years ended.
Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun go Instagram official
The 'Euphoria' actor shared a black-and-white photo from the show’s Season 3 premiere, taken by Chen, on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 15. In the image, Sydney Sweeney, 28, smiles directly at the camera while Scooter Braun, 44, stands close behind her with his arms around her.
This was their first shared photo together. Sweeney kept the caption simple, adding only a white heart emoji. Braun also reshared the same photo on his own Story and kept his caption simple, writing “Lucky”.
Sweeney later added another picture from the premiere showing the two smiling together, further confirming their closeness. They are also said to have been dating since September 2025.
Before this, Sweeney had not been publicly linked to anyone in a confirmed relationship since her split from Davino. She previously said she was focusing on herself and enjoying time with friends after the breakup, and confirmed she was single in May 2025.
The Instagram posts have now made their relationship clear in a simple, quiet way. What began as rumors has turned into a soft public reveal, with both of them sharing small glimpses instead of making an official announcement. A source told People in December that Sweeney and Braun were “getting serious.”
A closer look at Scooter Braun's career
Scooter Braun is a major figure in the music industry, known for building and managing the careers of several global stars. He rose to fame after discovering Justin Bieber at a young age and later worked with artists including Ariana Grande, Kanye West, and Demi Lovato.
On the personal side, Braun was married to Canadian activist Yael Cohen, and they have three children together. The couple separated in 2021, with their divorce finalized in 2022. In recent years, Scooter Braun has moved away from daily artist management. He has been focusing more on producing music and making business investments.
By 2024, after several well-known artists left his management roster, he had already reduced his direct involvement in managing careers. Later, Taylor Swift’s early music catalog changed ownership, and she was able to regain control of her original recordings through a separate deal connected to those rights.
