NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce joined the co-hosts on 'Fox & Friends Weekend' to discuss the rising calls from within the Democratic Party for President Joe Biden to step down, on Saturday, June 6.

Voices have been rising against the incumbent's candidacy since his disastrous performance in the first presidential debate against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump on June 27. On Friday, July 5, Biden sat down with ABC News host George Stephanopoulos to allay the concerns of his supporters, but reportedly failed, as Rep Angie Craig (D-Minn) spoke out against him soon afterward.

Tammy Bruce blames the Democratic Party for their situation

Bruce claimed the Democrats were well aware of Biden's lowered cognitive skills and initially planned to hide it to secure victory in the upcoming election.

"And now, of course, what they didn't expect and that's why they are not prepared, is for Donald Trump to survive... The underestimation of the American people when we see inherent unfairness against anyone, that is, I think, the core," she expressed.

"This is how detached the Democratic Party is - they thought it's not going to matter if people thought he (Biden) is out of it because Donald Trump is going to be in prison and Americans are going to hate him," shared Bruce. "It was all a delusion."

"That's why the country is a disaster, it's why the world is at war, it why the bad guys can do whatever they want, it's why ISIS is in the United States, ... Hezbollah and Hamas, jew hatred- everything is spilling over because of this framework that is destroying, finally, the Democratic Party."

Tammy Bruce reacts to Joe Biden's supporters calling on him to step down

Bruce stated that letting go of the Democratic candidacy has to be Biden's decision as he has won the primaries. However, the public calls for him to step down showed that "there is no communication inside the White House."

"The New York Times - normally they have a direct line into the White House - have to do opinion pieces and an editorial saying, 'Step down'. So this shows you the chaos, the lack of communication between the 'Pravda' of the United States and their boss, which is the Democratic Party."

"But more than that they (lawmakers calling for Biden to step down) are worried about the down ballot. So this is a way to separate themselves from Biden for their own races that may be coming up. So they've made a statement ... and they're hoping people won't vote down a ticket. But the fact is it's late for that," she added.
