NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Taylor Swift marked the 2025 holiday season with a powerful show of generosity, donating more than $2 million to multiple charitable organizations focused on hunger relief, healthcare, and music advocacy.

The global pop star donated $1 million each to Feeding America and the American Heart Association, along with a generous contribution to MusiCares. The donations highlighted Swift’s continued commitment to supporting communities in need and strengthening long-term social impact initiatives.

Taylor Swift donates over $2 million to various charities

According to official statements released on Tuesday, the ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ singer contributed over $2 million in total charitable giving. Her donations included $1 million to Feeding America, $1 million to the American Heart Association, and an additional contribution to MusiCares, which supports music professionals during times of financial, medical, or personal hardship.

The donation to the American Heart Association held personal significance for Swift and her family, following her father Scott Swift’s quintuple bypass surgery earlier this year.

In response, the century-old organization stated, “We remain ‘Fearless’ in our relentless commitment to prevent heart disease and stroke,” while reaffirming its mission to help Americans live longer, healthier lives.

The organization further noted that Swift’s contribution would help advance scientific research, strengthen prevention and treatment efforts, and expand access to life-saving care across communities nationwide.

Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot also expressed gratitude for Swift's support, emphasizing the impact of the donation during the holiday season.

She shared that Swift’s generosity served as “a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we unite to end hunger,” adding that the contribution would help ensure families across the country have access to nutritious meals.

Swift also extended her support to the music industry. The Academy of Country Music announced that it was “enchanted” to receive a donation from the singer, marking a meaningful moment as the organization approached the 20th anniversary of its philanthropic arm, ACM Lifting Lives.

The academy noted that her contribution would help fund music therapy programs, support mental health initiatives, and uplift members of the country music community.

Swifties gift $13 donations to NFL player’s non-profit

The spirit of giving extended beyond Swift herself, as fans rallied behind a heartfelt story shared by her longtime tour dancer Kameron Saunders during 'The End of an Era' docuseries.

Saunders revealed that his brother, NFL defensive tackle Khalen Saunders, once paid for his plane ticket to attend an 'Eras Tour' audition when he was struggling financially.

After Khalen jokingly posted that “ain’t nobody asked me what I want for Christmas,” fans responded by flooding his nonprofit organization, Original Element, with $13 donations — a nod to Swift’s iconic lucky number.

Khalen later expressed his appreciation on social media, writing, “Thank y’all so much. I truly am so grateful to have support like this. Every single dollar will be poured right back into the community.”
