A young Taylor Swift fan stole the show on Tuesday night during the first of her Eras Tour performances in Hamburg, Germany. The pop superstar, 34, has a tradition of picking a child from the audience to give her a hat while singing her hit song '22' from the 'Red' album.

On this rainy night, the lucky fan, a young girl, showed off her incredible dance moves as Swift approached her. The girl stopped dancing only when Swift knelt down to give her a hug, looking overwhelmed with excitement. Swift then gave her a high-five, and the girl reached in for another hug, which Swift happily obliged while continuing to sing. Swift was seen telling the young girl "I love you" before returning to the stage to finish the song. The heartwarming interaction quickly went viral, with fans praising the girl's dance moves and enthusiasm on social media.

Taylor Swift embraces rain during Hamburg Eras Tour kickoff

Taylor Swift dropped everything to play in the pouring rain at her first Eras Tour show in Hamburg, Germany, on Tuesday, July 23. The 'I Can Do It with a Broken Heart' singer, 34, proved that a little rain couldn't stop her from delivering a showstopping performance. During her Lover set, Swift addressed the crowd, saying, "I'm surrounded by an entire sold-out crowd of people who would dance with me in the rain," as reported by USA Today. She continued, "I don't know if you've heard this about us, but here on the Eras Tour we absolutely adore a rain show. I think a rain show only chooses a crowd that is completely worthy and ready to party with us all night in the rain."

Despite being drenched by the 'Fearless' portion of the show, the rain stopped by the time she reached the 'Red' segment. Swift embraced the weather with enthusiasm, delivering powerful performances throughout the night. The 'Lavender Haze' artist also treated fans to a unique set of double mashups.

Karlie Kloss reflects on friendship with Taylor Swift 

In an interview with Yahoo Life published on Monday, July 22, Kloss, 31, opened up about her former BFF, Taylor Swift, and revealed that 'Shake It Off' is her favorite song by the pop star. When asked about her thoughts on Swift's 11th studio album, 'The Tortured Poets Department,' released in April, Kloss struggled to pick just one favorite track from the project, ultimately praising Swift's music as "classic."

“I’d say the whole album (is my favorite),” Kloss told the outlet. “I mean, her music is classic.” Kloss’ comments are a rare public nod to her friendship with Swift, which was widely rumored to have ended.

Ben Shapiro labels Taylor Swift's popularity 'manufactured enthusiasm'

Lawyer and columnist Ben Shapiro has aimed at Taylor Swift, likening her widespread acclaim to what he describes as the "manufactured enthusiasm" surrounding Vice President Kamala Harris. As Swift continues the European leg of her tour, performing in Hamburg, Germany, on July 24 before heading to Munich, her influence is undeniable. Her three-and-a-half-hour show spans 10 acts, each representing different albums and eras of her life.

In 2023, Bloomberg Economics reported that the Eras Tour contributed $4.3 billion to the US economy. Despite this significant impact, Shapiro has questioned the authenticity of the support for Swift. During an appearance on Fox News with Jesse Watters, Shapiro discussed Harris and Swift. A clip of their conversation, posted on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Acyn, has garnered over 2.5 million views. Shapiro commented on Harris, saying: "What exactly do her qualifications look like other than you know, again, the sort of intersectional magic of Kamala Harris and the fact that Democrats have to manufacture enthusiasm for—I've never seen as much manufactured enthusiasm for anyone outside of maybe Taylor Swift right now. It's amazing."
