WASHINGTON, DC: The internet’s favorite psychic sitcom is back in the spotlight again, but for all the wrong reasons.

A now-viral video claims 'The Simpsons' predicted President Donald Trump’s death on April 12, 2025.

Fake coffin scene fuels another round of digital misinformation

The clip, which appears to show Donald Trump in a coffin surrounded by somber political figures, has been making the rounds on social media, racking up millions of views and sparking frantic speculation.

But here’s the thing, it’s not real, The Express reported.

There is no such scene in any episode of 'The Simpsons'. Not in the archives. Not in deleted scenes. Not in any director’s cut. It’s a fabricated image, digitally manipulated and spliced together to mimic the show’s style.

Back in 2024, following an assassination attempt on Trump, a similar image went viral, falsely suggesting 'The Simpsons' had predicted the incident. That, too, was debunked. Executive producer Matt Selman even stepped in to clarify, “This scene never appeared in any episode.”

The newest viral video is simply the latest in a series of doctored claims. Since 2017, altered images and edited footage have repeatedly and falsely implied that 'The Simpsons' predicted Trump’s downfall.

'The Simpsons' has made several predictions that did come true. In a 2000 episode, the show featured a future where Trump became president.

Among the show's spot-on predictions are the emergence of smartwatches back in 1995 and the 2012 discovery of the Higgs Boson particle. These uncanny coincidences have only added to the intrigue, sparking theories that 'The Simpsons' has an almost eerie knack for predicting real-world events.

Fans outraged after 'The Simpsons' appears to predict Donald Trump's death

A viral clip making the rounds online has stirred major controversy, with claims that 'The Simpsons' predicted the death of Donald Trump. But fans aren't buying it as many are calling it out as fake and AI-generated, sparking a storm of disbelief and frustration across social media.

“You people are f*****g retards,” one person wrote.

“This is an AI-generated sequence. Look at the spelling of dates, etc. The characters are not properly drawn close, but no cigar. Also, no Simpsons episode with this content has ever been on air,” a user explained.

“Why would the clock showing 3:12 be interpreted as April 12th?” one user asked, while another clarified, “The clock said 3:12! 03/12/25 is not April 12! It’s March 12.”

The consensus among many seemed clear, “Sorry, it's all AI bulls**t. Episode never happened.”

Others took it even further into conspiracy territory. “It’s just a criminal project of freemasonry,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “None of that was ever on the Simpsons.”
