NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Host Whoopi Goldberg shared that she became the godmother of a cruise ship a couple of decades ago on the January 25 episode of 'The View'.

Christened 'The Serenade of the Seas', the vessel recently hosted TikTok star Mark Sebastian, who had a message for Goldberg.

A video clip that was played following the introduction showed Sebastian who said that he discovered Goldberg to be the godmother of the ship.

"Whoopi, you and I, we know we have got to talk, because I got to let you know what's going on in this ship, okay?" he continued, making everyone burst out in laughter.

"Let me start by saying (that) I run a tight ship," quipped the co-host.

The duration of the cruise is nine months

"TikToker users on board have apparently turned this nine-month cruise into a reality show, by posting what is actually happening during (the) journey," said Goldberg, before asking those around the Hot Topics table if they were up for a nine-month vacation on the seas.

Co-host Joy Behar was more than happy to take up the opportunity as she immediately asked executive Brian Teta if she could have a leave for the long period.

"It sounds (like) such a great trip. You go to sixty countries," she said, adding that it costs $54,000 a year for the trip.

"Assisted living cost the same thing, (however) this way you get to see the Taj Mahal!" she continued.

"For two of you, it's a $100,000. I mean it's not cheap, I'm not saying everybody can afford it. But if you can…"

Behar later went on to state the amenities present on the vessel, which included 3 swimming pools, 12 bars, restaurants, a nine-hole miniature golf course, adult-only sundeck, and a rock climbing wall.

Sara Haines feels 9 months is too long a vacation for her

"I don't know how you guys vacation, but I take the guardrails off," Haines told the group. "I drink what I want, I eat what I want."

"My body can only do it for 7 days. I come back 2-sizes up and hungover. I cannot do it for 9 months, I would be a mess," she admitted.

"This is not good for people who are alcoholic," quipped Behar.

"I'm not an alcoholic!" exclaimed Haines. "I just drink on vacations. Nine months is just a little bit of a commitment from me!"

Alyssa Farah Griffin bowed out from vacationing on the cruise as well as she said that she felt terribly seasick.
