WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump has sharply escalated his public criticism of Fox News, accusing the network of giving Democratic and independent candidates more airtime while failing to adequately showcase his own Republican campaign events.

In three Truth Social posts, Trump targeted Fox interviews with Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Nebraska independent Dan Osborn, while also complaining about Martha MacCallum’s interview with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

He said Fox had “totally lost their way” and ended with a sweeping declaration: “MY RALLIES ARE SAVING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, AGAIN!!!”

Trump says Fox favors opposition candidates

Trump opened the latest attack by arguing that Fox News spends more time covering “the Jihadist and Democrat candidates” than “the good old fashioned Republicans.”

He specifically cited El-Sayed and complained that Fox’s Martha MacCallum gave him a “softball interview,” adding, “She never interviews me like that.”

Trump also accused Fox of ignoring his own political record and rallies.

“They don’t show my record breaking Rallies the morning after,” he wrote, before adding that other outlets do and “that’s what MAGA is watching.”

He concluded: “Fox is promoting the Democrats, not the Republicans and MAGA. They have totally lost their way!”

Osborn interview triggers Nebraska clash

Trump’s second post focused on Nebraska, where Republican Sen. Pete Ricketts faces independent challenger Dan Osborn.

Trump questioned why Fox was “long-form interviewing the sleazebag, Dan Osborn” and asked, “Why are they doing this???”

Osborn’s campaign has received Democratic support, although he is running as an independent.

Ricketts is seeking another Senate term, while Trump traveled to Nebraska on Monday to campaign for him.

Reports stated that Trump’s visit came as Republicans work to defend the seat and as Osborn has mounted a competitive challenge.

Trump argued that “the ‘other side’ doesn’t give our people any positive exposure or airtime,” then invoked his own electoral record: “It is a miracle that I won, the last by a landslide, three Presidential Races!”

Fox relationship faces another pressure point

The complaints add another chapter to Trump’s increasingly public criticism of Fox News.

The network remains a major platform for conservative political coverage, while Trump has repeatedly objected when its programming does not give his events the prominence he expects.

His latest comments also come after Fox extensively covered his Ohio rally for Ricketts’ Republican colleague Jon Husted and gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Fox’s own report described Trump urging Ohio voters to help Republicans retain power in November.

Trump nevertheless complained that the network does not sufficiently showcase his rallies immediately afterward, saying other outlets do so and that this is what his supporters watch.

Trump puts rallies at GOP center

Trump’s third post reduced the dispute to a single political message, written entirely in capital letters: “MY RALLIES ARE SAVING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, AGAIN!!!”

The declaration comes during a concentrated midterm campaign push.

Trump has traveled to Ohio and Nebraska to campaign for Republican candidates, while also framing the November 3 election as a test of his administration.

His Nebraska appearance for Ricketts included an executive order temporarily expanding tax-free use of red-dyed diesel.
