WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump's senior campaign advisor Jason Miller added to speculations of a potential replacement for the Democratic ticket to President Joe Biden.

Miller asserted on social media that Hillary Clinton, who had an unsuccessful White House run against the 45th president in 2016, would step into Biden's shoes.

Pressure is mounting on the 83-year-old to step aside for a younger face. Dozens of elected Democratic officials made the demand since his disastrous debate performance last month that raised concerns about his cognitive decline. As per the latest reports, closest Biden allies like Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi also shifted their support, fearing the octogenarian's ability to beat Trump in November.

Hillary Clinton emerges as potential new replacement for Joe Biden

"SHE'S RUNNING!!! These opinion pieces don't happen organically - Crooked is on the move!!!" Miller wrote on X, sharing an article by The Hill published on July 20.

The Hill's opinion piece titled 'Ready for Round 2: Why we Need Hillary more than ever' by political commentator Pablo O'Hana delved into why Democrats should choose Clinton to replace Biden, deeming her the "most qualified" to run for the POTUS. The article prompted Miller to assert she was again running to compete with Trump instead of Biden.

According to O'Hana, the former secretary of state would be the "mightiest" for the Democratic ticket if Biden conceded the race. He noted that Clinton, 76, was younger than the 81-year-old incumbent and his 78-year-old GOP opponent.

"Clinton is a ready-made replacement. She possesses an unparalleled resume and an unmatched depth of experience," the op-ed read, citing how her unparalleled experience as secretary of state, senator, first lady, and Children's Defense Fund attorney, along with her domestic and international affairs, would make her the best choice.

Running against Trump in 2016, Clinton's campaign met with controversies for using her private email while she was secretary of state. However, she managed to win the popular vote.

Despite all the speculations, CNN's latest report suggested Hillary and Bill Clinton privately encouraged donors to continue donating to Biden's campaign after many threatened to halt contributions if the incumbent stayed in the race.

Internet does not support Hillary Clinton to run against Donald Trump

Responding to Miller's post, users on X indicated they would not want a second White House race from Clinton. Many claimed she would lose to Trump due to her lack of accomplishments.

"This is a freakin nightmare!" A user wrote.

"She’s never gonna break the glass ceiling. People despise her," another remarked.

"Oh dear lord!! How many times are they going to drag her out of the basement ?? God help us!" added a third user.

"If they’re going to try and inject a candidate, they need someone with name recognition and a record to run with. It would make sense for them to try and pull this off. She’ll lose again though. She’s not very liked outside of the DC bubble lol," read a fourth response.

"Devoid of any accomplishments or successes," another person wrote.

"If so, this is great news for Trump. She is the least likable politician of all time," someone else chimed in.

"She can lose again," an individual argued.
