Donald Trump said, “Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White? We’re going to have a UFC fight. We’re going to have a UFC fight — think of this — on the grounds of the White House.”

“We have a lot of land there, we’re going to build a little — we’re not, Dana is going to do it. Dana is great, one of a kind — going to be UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20,000 to 25,000 people, and we’re going to do that as part of ‘250,’” Trump continued.
Trump and UFC President Dana White are close friends.
The Republican leader also said that “we’re going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events. But the UFC fight is going to be a big deal, too,” as he further stated that “every one of our national parks, battlefields and historic sites” will host “special events in honor of ‘America250’.”

However, not everyone was happy with Trump's announcement, as one critic said, “Worthless show,” and another added, “You voted for a UFC fight to take place on the White House lawn while we take snap benefits and Medicaid away from poor people and school meals away from children?”
“Oh next we will have WWF in the rose garden,” another tweet read.
