WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump launched a public offensive against Indiana Senate "leader" Rodric Bray in a Truth Social post on Thursday, December 11, accusing him of sabotaging a congressional redistricting plan that he insists would hand Republicans two new House seats.

With the proposed map bogged down in the Indiana Senate, Trump warned that anyone who votes against it could face a “MAGA primary.”

Trump framed Indiana as a pivotal battleground in what he called the party’s fight against “Radical Left Democrats,” portraying Bray as the single figure standing in the way of a national GOP victory.

Trump blasts Indiana GOP leaders over stalled redistricting push

In a blistering, multi-paragraph post, Trump invoked his sweeping past victories in Indiana to argue that the state owed the party a new, more aggressive congressional map.

“I love the State of Indiana, and have won it, including Primaries, six times, all by MASSIVE Majorities,” he wrote.

“Importantly, it now has a chance to make a difference in Washington, DC, in regard to the number of House seats we have that are necessary to hold the Majority against the Radical Left Democrats,” he added.

Trump insisted that “every other State has done Redistricting, willingly, openly, and easily,” claiming Indiana was alone in balking at helping Republicans win the 2026 midterms.

“There was never a question in their mind that contributing to a WIN … was a great thing to do for our Party, and for America itself,” he said.

The president charged that Bray “enjoys being the only person in the United States of America who is against Republicans picking up extra seats,” claiming the Senate leader is using “every ounce of his limited strength” to persuade his “soon to be very vulnerable friends” to oppose the map.

Trump accuses Rodric Bray of partnering with 'the radical left'

Trump went even further, asserting that Bray and a small group of Senate Republicans had effectively aligned themselves with Democrats.

“In any event, he and a couple of his friends will partner with the Radical Left Democrats,” Trump alleged. “They found some Republican ‘SUCKERS,’ and they couldn’t be happier that they did!”

He also revived old grievances, slamming “Failed Senate Candidate Mitch Daniels,” whom he claimed had become one of the “favorite Republicans of Hakeem Jeffries, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, and Cryin’ Chuck Schumer.”

Trump dismissed GOP strategist Cam Savage with the aside, “whoever that is,” accusing them all of “fighting against the Republican Party, all the way.”

The president concluded his post with a thinly veiled threat. “Anybody that votes against Redistricting, and the SUCCESS of the Republican Party in DC, will be, I am sure, met with a MAGA Primary in the Spring,” he said.

He added that Bray and his allies “won’t be in Politics for long,” vowing to use “everything within my power to make sure that they will not hurt the Republican Party, and our Country, again.”
