LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former President Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of insults at the hosts of 'The View', branding them “degenerates” and “dumb women” after Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris appeared on the show.

Taking to Truth Social and X on Tuesday, Trump expressed particular ire over Harris' response to a question about her potential differences from President Joe Biden.

Kamala Harris reflects on presidential experience while Trump launches scathing attack

During the interview, Harris acknowledged the impact of personal experience on a presidency but initially stated, “There is not a thing that comes to mind,” emphasizing her involvement in key decisions, such as lowering insulin costs to $35 and reducing prescription medication prices for seniors.

However, she later clarified that she would do at least one thing differently: “I’m going to have a Republican in my Cabinet.”

This seven-second clip prompted Trump to respond on X, where he fumed, “Lyin’ Kamala, who is being exposed as a ‘dummy’ every time she does a show, just stated to the degenerates on The View that she would have done nothing different than Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.”

He added, “The Lamestream Media doesn’t want to pick up the story... but the dumb women on the show wish they never asked her the question that led to that Election Defying answer, but the Internet is going WILD.”

In a subsequent post on Truth Social, Trump reiterated his claims, stating, “I was the one who got the $35 Insulin, not Lyin’ Kamala.”

Harris appeared on the ABC talk show as part of her campaign’s media outreach, which has included interviews with '60 Minutes', as well as podcasts like 'Call Her Daddy' and shows hosted by Howard Stern.

Harris critiques Trump over hurricane claims as tensions with 'The View' hosts escalate

During her appearance, she criticized Trump and other Republicans for spreading debunked claims about the response to Hurricane Helene. Host Ana Navarro, a former Republican strategist, specifically accused Trump of spreading lies about withholding FEMA aid from Republican areas, saying, “Kamala spent all of her FEMA money — billions of dollars — on housing for illegal migrants.”

In response to Trump’s comments about FEMA spending, Harris stated, “It’s profound, and it is the height of irresponsibility and frankly callousness,” accusing him of playing “political games for the sake of himself” during a national tragedy.

Trump has had a long-standing feud with the hosts of 'The View', particularly targeting former host Rosie O’Donnell, even insulting her in a notorious comment during the 2016 presidential debate with Hillary Clinton.

Longtime co-host Joy Behar has consistently vocalized her opposition to Trump, describing him as a “true sociopath” in July of this year.
