Trump camp keeps crowd engaged with Celine Dion concert video at Montana rally as ex-POTUS gets delayed
BOZEMAN, MONTANA: Donald Trump's campaign played a music video of singer Celine Dion singing 'My Heart Will Go On' from the movie 'Titanic' as the crowd waited for the GOP presidential candidate and his running mate JD Vance, at a rally in Bozeman on Friday, August 9.
Notably, Trump's plane was forced to divert its landing to Billings, Montana, due to a mechanical issue, according to CBS News.

Trump camp plays Celine Dion's song from 'Titanic' during his rally
As the crowd waited in Bozeman for Donald Trump and JD Vance to show up for rally, Trump campaign officials played a music video of Celine Dion's concert on the giant screen where she was seen performing the song 'My Heart Will Go On' from the 1997 film 'Titanic'.
Moreover, the Kamala HQ X page also posted a video of the rally and wrote in the caption, "Trump campaign plays the theme from the Titanic at his rally."

Trump's Bozeman rally was set to start at 8 pm and supporters lined up hours ahead of the scheduled start time to secure a spot. However, he did not take the stage until about 9.30 pm ET, as per CBS News.
Notably, this is the GOP candidate's first rally this week, while his running mate Vance, and opponents, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, have been visiting key battleground states. In July 2024, Trump was shot during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Moreover, Montana is regarded as a safe Republican state where no Democrat has won a presidential race since Bill Clinton in 1992. However, Trump's appearance would give GOP Senate candidate Tim Sheehy a boost as he tries to unseat Democrat Sen Jon Tester, who will be up for reelection in November.
Tester has tried to convince voters that he's aligned with Trump on many issues, mirroring his successful strategy from 2018. Even though that worked in a non-presidential election year, it faces a more critical test in November with Tester's opponent Sheehy, trying to link the three-term incumbent to Harris.
