WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump proposed a "no holds barred" presidential debate with President Joe Biden on the stage talking about the "future" of America.

The Republican presumptive nominee challenged his 81-year-old President for a second debate in his Truth Social rant as the country celebrated the Fourth of July on Thursday.

"I have the answer to the Crooked Joe Biden Incompetence Puzzle — Let's do another Debate, but this time, no holds barred," Trump wrote on his social media platform. "An all-on discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our Country."

Their first face-off on June 27 was a disaster for Biden, who started off the debate with a raspy voice, fumbling multiple times with nonsensical statements. The real estate mogul, on the other hand, looked more energetic on stage.

Donald Trump suggests topics for second debate with Joe Biden

Donald Trump claimed that the absence of moderators and rules would make the debate's rating "blow everything away" as compared to the first debate of the 2024 race hosted by CNN, which generated 51.7 million viewers. It was moderated by CNN hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

Each candidate had only two minutes to answer the questions during the debate and one minute for refusal. The candidates' microphones were turned off after the allotted time or while the other was talking.

The MAGA spearhead said his proposal would let Biden explain his policies that adversely impacted the American people.

"Let Joe explain why he wants Open Borders, with millions of people, and many violent criminals from parts unknown, pouring into our once great Nation, or why he wants Men Playing in Women's Sports, or demand ALL ELECTRIC VEHICLES within five years, or why he allowed INFLATION TO RUN RAMPANT, destroying the people of our Country, and so much more," Trump wrote.

Moreover, he suggested Biden would prove his "competence," or the lack of it "under great pressure," and the debate would be a test for Trump himself.

"What a great evening it would be, just the two of us, one on one, in a good, old fashioned Debate, the way they used to be. ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!!!" Trump concluded.

After last week's lackluster debate performance, calls for Biden to exit the re-election bid intensified from a group of Democratic allies. In order to quash the declining confidence, the President met more than 20 Democratic governors at the White House on Wednesday, July 3, to regain support.

On the other hand, Trump had a successful week after the debate with the SCOTUS ruling in favor of his immunity argument.

The former president also brutally ridiculed his successor's debate show in his Fourth of July message, where he claimed the latter "choked like a dog" on the stage.

Internet warns Trump his debate idea might be self-destructive

Netizens refused to concur with Donald Trump's debate proposal, concluding it would not work well for him.

"Dumb move. The conditions that were supposed to benefit Biden are the conditions that made Trump look good. Forced to keep his mouth shut. A normal debate would only benefit Biden. Biden won’t accept regardless," one social media user wrote.

"Not smart. The last format actually favored Trump. It made him look more disciplined because he couldn't interrupt. It allowed Biden the time to mumble and stumble," another remarked.

"He’s scared of running against Kamala isn’t he? He wants Joe to stay in, lol," added one person.

"Trump can’t help himself from self destruction," another response read.

"Trump should never debate him again.. now the bar is set way too low for Biden. Anything short of him being a total vegetable on stage will be considered an improvement," another person said.

"This is very dumb when you have 20 in blackjack, just take the win, don’t split them he won, why is he doing this," someone else wrote.

"This would not work out well for Trump.., he needs to just be quiet and let this play out… politically he should want Biden to remain the nominee," an individual chimed in.

"That would be a mistake. Each needs to answer Qs without interruption. That format allowed Biden to self- destruct in dramatic fashion. It also showed DT's restraint. Arguing back and forth in a free for all would devolve into a verbal mess. If not broke, don't fix it," another user added.
