WASHINGTON, DC: Former President Donald Trump's Fourth of July message to the United States deviated into a Truth Social rant attacking President Joe Biden and other political opponents instead of celebrating Independence Day.

The 45th president took to his social media platform to ridicule his Democratic successor's dismal performance in last week's presidential debate.

"Happy Fourth of July to all, including to our highly incapable 'President,' who uses Prosecutors to go after his Political Opponent, who choked like a dog during the Debate but tried to pretend it was 'International Travel' (only 12 days rest!) and, when that gig was up, he blamed it on a 'cold.' Therefore, why would anyone say he's cognitively challenged?" Trump wrote.

Biden blamed his lackluster performance on the debate stage to the exhaustion from his foreign travels in the previous days. Similarly, the White House defended the president's raspy voice, claiming he had a cold during the debate.

Besides Biden, the Republican presumptive nominee also attacked Vice President Kamala Harris, who is speculated to be a replacement for the incumbent if he decides to drop out, and special counsel Jack Smith, who oversees the investigation of two criminal cases against Trump.

"Also, respects to our potentially new Democrat Challenger, Laffin' Kamala Harris. She did poorly in the Democrat Nominating process, starting out at Number Two, and ending up defeated and dropping out, even before getting to Iowa, but that doesn't mean she's not a 'highly talented' politician!"

He continued referring to Harris' unsuccessful presidential bid against Biden in 2020 before she became the Democrat's running mate.

Brutally ridiculing Smith, who is in charge of the investigation of Trump's classified documents case and election interference case in Washington DC, the former president labeled him a "Deranged Biden Prosecutor." The real estate mogul then claimed the special counsel was a "legend" for losing all of his cases.

Trump concluded the Fourth of July message with his credo, "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," after implying the prosecutions against him were politically motivated.

While Biden faced heightening calls to drop out of the 2024 race in light of his pathetic debate show, Trump had a successful week after the first face-off with the Democrat.

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the ex-president by a 6-3 majority on presidential immunity. The conservative high court decided that the presidents enjoyed "absolute immunity" on official acts under the constitutional authority and presumptive immunity for other official acts.

Donald Trump draws flak for using Fourth of July message to attack rivals

Netizens blasted Trump's hate-filled Independence Day message, suggesting he was full of himself.

"This man is full of hate and anger. He is NOT a good man," a user said.

"Terrible rambling from a cognitively declining former president," another remarked.

"If you don’t have anything decent to say about our country or our president on the Fourth of July don’t bother posting. I don’t think there’s been any holiday that you haven’t made about you," added a third user.

"What a pathetic and disrespectful thing to say... about any American," read a fourth response.

"You are truly incapable, former President Trump, of making a kind wish to anybody without putting a dig in there. This is not sincere. It’s just another one of your nasty remarks the closer you get to November. You really are pathetic and your ego taking over," another person wrote.

"Why am I surprised each time you stoop lower than the last time. Has there ever been anyone as despicable and disgusting as you? No! You will pay eventually for your evil. It can’t come soon enough," someone else fumed.

"Me,me,me,me,me,me,me, I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I,I, we need a person that thinks of OTHERS FIRST, NO THEMSELVES 24/7. Also, would be awesome if they didn't speak of themselves in the 3rd peron... it's a bit weird," wrote an enraged individual.

"Even a Fourth of July message turns into a hateful derogatory statement. Can’t just say Happy Fourth of July. Let’s celebrate our nation and make America great. Too easy I guess," another user chimed in.
