Donald Trump says he doesn't need entertainers to 'Make America Great Again'

Responding to the event, Trump took to Truth Social to emphasize that he does not need concerts or entertainers to rally support.

"Crazy Kamala Harris, voted the WORST Vice President in American history, needed a concert to bring people into the Atlanta arena, and they started leaving five minutes into her speech," the former president wrote on Wednesday, July 31.

"I don’t need concerts or entertainers, I just have to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!" he added.

Why is 'Hoes for Harris' trending after Kamala Harris' Atlanta rally?

Megan Thee Stallion's performance at Harris' rally in Atlanta sparked the trending hashtag 'Hoes for Harris' on X (formerly Twitter) with both the rapper and the Democratic presidential candidate facing criticism.

On Tuesday, July 30, Megan, who was dressed in a blue power suit, performed two songs for Harris at the rally. She twerked on stage, stating, "I want to start off by saying Hotties for Harris!"

At the rally held at the Georgia State Convocation Center, Harris addressed a crowd of around 10,000 people with many people waiting outside for a seat, reported The Guardian.

Following the outrage, Democrats rallied behind Harris, dismissing the 'Hoes for Harris' trend as a mere upgrade of 'Cat ladies' campaign. This reference goes back to an old video where Trump's VP pick JD Vance labeled "childless cat lady" during a previous election cycle.

Internet agrees with Donald Trump as he criticizes Kamala Harris' Atlanta rally featuring Megan Thee Stallion

As the Atlanta rally drew a huge crowd, netizens questioned the true motivation behind the large crowd, highlighting the ongoing debate about the role of entertainment in political campaigns.

Agreeing with Trump on not needing concerts or entertainers to rally support, one user on X wrote, "If I wanted to go to a concert, I would just buy a ticket. I prefer my candidates to understand the mess that we are in and tell me what they’re going to do to fix it," while another wrote, "So true, DJT! We love you!"

"Trump doesn't need a free concert to bring supporters to a rally. TRUMP IS THE CONCERT!" a netizen commented and a user tweeted, "Her whole campaign will be an illusion."
