COSTA RICA, CENTRAL AMERICA: Ivanka Trump’s sunny getaway to Costa Rica is making waves, not just for the surf, but for the subtle shade thrown her way by a family friend of Donald Trump.

Ivanka was spotted enjoying a beachside break with husband Jared Kushner, along with his brother Joshua Kushner and sister-in-law Karlie Kloss, whose third pregnancy Ivanka celebrated publicly, putting feud rumors to rest.

But while the vacation seemed picture-perfect, it didn’t go unnoticed by critics within the Trump circle.

Ivanka Trump was spotted soaking up the sun and catching waves during a tropical getaway in Costa Rica, and the pictures—obtained by the Daily Mail via Backgrid—captured her looking radiant and relaxed.

Ivanka showed off her toned physique in a vibrant tangerine bikini as she confidently surfed the waves, smiling brightly all the while. Her husband, Jared, 44, joined her in the water, sporting neon green swim trunks and showing off his own fit frame.

On the other side, Karlie, dressed down in a black midi dress and wide-brimmed hat, and her husband Joshua.

Despite the picture-perfect scenes, a Trump family friend didn’t miss the chance to take a jab. Speaking to the Daily Mail, they remarked, “Now they're no longer big players in Washington, they have all the time in the world to cultivate their good looks. They've always been especially vain.”

The presence of Karlie and Joshua on the trip caught some attention, given past tensions. Kloss, a committed Democrat, has notably different political views from Ivanka.

In a 2019 British Vogue interview, the model seemed to subtly criticize her sister-in-law, admitting it was “hard” having Ivanka in the family.

However, any rift may be in the past. Last year, a source said that the two women maintain a cordial relationship.

“They're in the same family and they spend time at family events together, they also have an overlapping social circle in Miami. They may not be best friends, but it's wide off the mark to say they don't get along,” the source shared.

In March, Karlie announced on social media that she was expecting her third baby with Joshua. Ivanka "liked" the sweet announcement, proving there is no bad blood between them.

Ivanka Trump wants to be the ‘best freaking mom’

Ivanka Trump has stepped away from politics following her father’s second-term victory, choosing to focus instead on her personal life and family.

From 2016 to 2020, Ivanka—alongside her husband Jared Kushner—held considerable influence in Donald Trump’s White House, despite having no formal political background. She served as a senior advisor to her father, trading in her life as a fashion designer and New York socialite to relocate her family to Washington, DC

In a recent podcast interview, Ivanka opened up about her post-White House transformation, describing her current role as a “freaking mom,” while also diving into fitness, wellness, and reconnecting with friends who had distanced themselves during her political chapter.

Now living in Miami with her husband and three children—Arabella,13, Joseph,10, and Theodore, 8—Ivanka revealed that prioritizing exercise has become a major shift in her life.

She detailed a demanding fitness routine that includes weightlifting, yoga, pilates, and even jiu-jitsu, noting, “My whole body changed... my body composition fundamentally changed. I got stronger, I got leaner, and I could kind of get away with it because I'm really tall, so I can look lean even if I wasn't strong.”

In the same interview, Ivanka made a candid admission about her past role in politics: “I hate politics,” she said. “It’s very dark, negative. Some people love the gladiator aspect of it—the fight. That was never me.”

She emphasized that her biggest priority has always been her role at home: “My primary goals were just to, like, be the best freaking mom.”
