Byron Donalds defends Trump DOJ compensation fund

Byron Donalds has recently shown his strong loyalty to Donald Trump on the national stage by defending a controversial new Department of Justice initiative.

The administration recently established a $1.776 billion "anti-weaponization" fund to compensate individuals who claim they were unfairly targeted by federal investigations under the previous administration.

While the fund has faced intense backlash and skepticism from lawmakers on Capitol Hill, Donalds firmly backed the policy during a recent appearance on 'Fox News Sunday.'

He explained that the money came from a settled IRS case involving Trump, noting that instead of keeping the money, Trump chose to "put it into a fund for other people," solidifying his position as a dedicated Trump ally as he campaigns for Florida governor.
