PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump promised on Saturday, October 26, that he would make McDonald’s ice cream machines "work great again" when he is president, per the Independent.

Trump grabbed a lot of attention when he worked at a McDonald’s outlet in Pennsylvania on October 20, before staging an impromptu news conference and answering questions through the drive-thru window.

Donald Trump says he would make McDonald’s ice cream machines 'work great again'

Donald Trump took to his Truth Social and X account on Saturday and wrote, "When I'm president the McDonald's ice cream machines will work great again!"

The post also showed a smiling President Joe Biden wearing a MAGA hat and holding a large ice cream cone. The post garnered more than 150,000 likes on X within an hour.

Trump's post comes as he rides high on his recent campaign stunt of working behind the fry station at a McDonald’s restaurant in Pennsylvania. It has been claimed that this was a staged event as the outlet was closed for normal business and even the customers he was seen serving were pre-screened.

But Trump has been consistently referring to his McDonald's stunt at his rallies.

The GOP nominee spent around 30 minutes making french fries and greeting customers at a drive-thru window in an attempt to troll Democratic rival Kamala Harris, who Trump claims, without evidence, is lying about working at a McDonald’s restaurant while in college.

During his Pennsylvania rally on Saturday, Trump repeated his claim that his stunt at McDonald's had been so successful that he had been contacted by the head of Google, Sundar Pichai, who congratulated him on his "monster" event.

Trump told the crowd, "I actually got a call from Sundar ... the head of Google and he said, ‘Sir, I just want to tell you what you did with McDonald’s was one of the single biggest events we’ve ever had at Google."

Donald Trump claims 29,000 people surrounded McDonald’s outlet during his visit

Donald Trump claimed that 29,000 supporters surrounded the Mc Donald's restaurant while he cooked.

He told rallygoers in Las Vegas, "We weren’t sure if we were able to get out."

However, social media users soon pointed out that although large crowds did line the surrounding streets of the Feasterville-Trevose McDonald's restaurant, the numbers given by Trump appeared to be untrue.

A user wrote on X, "For context around this obvious lie, that McDonald’s is in Feasterville-Trevose, PA which has a total population of 24,657."

Another added, "Bro needs to worry about deporting all the Mexicans first."

A person stated, "Haha bro is a meme."

Another mentioned, "I think this was a joke this time bro."
