WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump made a memorable appearance in a new Netflix docuseries about Hulk Hogan, but one small moment stood out more than the rest — the one thing he refused to do on camera.

The 79-year-old appears in two episodes of the four-part series ‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’, which features interviews and personal stories about the late wrestling icon.

While Trump had no hesitation in sharing his thoughts about Hogan, he stopped short when asked to imitate one of the wrestler’s most famous gestures.

In the second episode, Trump spoke about how his relationship with Hogan began and why he agreed to be part of the project.

“Somehow, I became friendly with Hulk Hogan, the Hulkster, and he’s a good man. He’s just a nice guy,” Trump said.

He explained that Hogan himself had reached out to him about appearing in the documentary.

“He asked me, ‘Would you do this interview?’ I said, ‘Why not?’” the POTUS added.

The segment also touches on Trump’s involvement in WrestleMania events in the past, including WrestleManias IV and V, which were held at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City.

The most talked-about moment from Trump’s appearance comes toward the end of the interview.

As the conversation turned to Hogan’s larger-than-life personality, the interviewer asked Trump if he would demonstrate the wrestler’s famous finger-wag gesture.

Trump paused briefly, appearing to consider it, before deciding against it.

“No, I’ve given you enough,” he said, ending the moment with a touch of humor.

The short exchange has since caught attention for showing a more relaxed and candid side of the president.

Hulk Hogan’s support for Trump featured in docuseries

The documentary also highlights Hogan’s public support for Trump, including a notable moment during the 2024 Republican National Convention.

Hogan delivered an energetic speech backing Trump, a clip that appears in the final episode of the series.

The film blends these political moments with personal reflections, giving viewers a broader look at Hogan’s life, career, and relationships.

‘Hulk Hogan: Real American’ carries added emotional weight as it includes what is described as the final interview with the wrestling icon before his death in July 2025.

The series also features conversations with members of his inner circle, including his son Nick Hogan and ex-wife Linda Hogan, as well as several figures from the wrestling world, including Kevin Nash, Bret Hart, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and Jimmy “The Mouth of the South” Hart.
