WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump stirred controversy on late Friday, July 26, by sharing a meme that shows him and Vice President JD Vance in police cars chasing former President Barack Obama, who is portrayed driving a white Ford Bronco down a Los Angeles freeway.

The image mimics the infamous 1994 televised police chase involving NFL star OJ Simpson, who was accused of killing his ex-wife and her friend.

Images of the president and his vice president appear in police cars following the lead vehicle, with Vance shown in exaggerated, scruffy features reminiscent of a viral meme that recently circulated online.

Unbothered by the jab, Vance shared the image on X, adding a crying-laughing emoji in response.

While Trump did not offer an explicit explanation for the meme, many see it as part of his continued campaign to redirect attention from scrutiny surrounding the Epstein files documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged network of abuse back toward political rivals from the Obama and Biden years.

The meme’s release follows a recent pattern of Trump revisiting old political grievances, particularly targeting investigations tied to his 2016 campaign and alleged Russian collusion.

Internet explodes after Donald Trump posts meme of himself and JD Vance chasing Barack Obama

Donald Trump’s latest meme has sent the internet into a frenzy of laughter, outrage, and speculation.

Supporters praised the president’s trolling skills, saying, “Only Trump could post a meme like this while negotiating peace deals across the globe. JD’s face is the cherry on top. This ain’t just trolling, it’s dominance. The man’s running the country and roasting his enemies mid-scroll. Classic 47.”

“No president in the history of America has trolled better than President Trump,” one user added.

“Using that Vance meme face is so hilarious!!! Makes it so much funnier! Thank God for good senses of humor!” another joked.

One lamented, “Epic trolling level. Best administration ever.”

But not everyone found it funny or appropriate with one writing, “Epstein distraction. And not really funny,” while another wrote, “Bro is enjoying his last term in office.”

“Would much prefer to see him release the Epstein files like he promised,” a user penned.

Another added, “OK now show the reality of Trump running away from the Epstein files.”
