Trump explains how the 'Gold Card' will help companies

As he looked at his colleagues, the president told them that they would be very happy because of the new initiative.

He said that company owners who were looking to hire foreign students graduating from top schools could previously not hire the best, since they had to leave the country within "24 hours." He added they could buy the card to “keep people in the country.”

He added that if that were not an option, those people would go to different countries, but the companies could buy the card and use it for “people coming into our country” instead of being “immediately shipped” back after graduating.

Trump clarified that the company would have to pay a small fee and further praised the card and called it “beautiful.”
