WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump launched a fiery Truth Social tirade on Friday, February 6, attacking former President Joe Biden and taking a swipe at Rosie O’Donnell.

Trump claimed that Biden had pardoned several politicians, including Democrats and two Republicans, for allegedly destroying evidence in the January 6 investigation, framing the move as part of a broader political conspiracy against him.

Trump took to Truth Social to launch a barrage of attacks on his political rivals, targeting former President Joe Biden, members of the January 6 select committee, and Rosie O’Donnell.

In his post, the Republican leader claimed, "Nobody realized that the Crooked Democrat Politicians of the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs and Hacks, plus two ‘Republicans,’ who were worse than the Democrats, Wacky Liz Cheney were given Pardons by Crooked Joe Biden, for the crime of deleting and destroying ALL evidence having to do with the January 6th investigation."

He argued, "The reason they made this criminal move was because it proved, conclusively, that I did nothing wrong."

Trump criticized the officials for seeking protection, calling them “crooked” and accusing them of “crimes against humanity.”

Trump says Liz Cheney is becoming like Rosie O’Donnell

Trump also singled out Liz Cheney, comparing her to Rosie O’Donnell, "Wacky Liz Cheney (She is becoming just like Rosie O’Donnell, the “wee lass” who is currently residing in Ireland in order to escape her Trump Derangement Syndrome!)."

Trump also took aim at Rep Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), calling him “a sick and demented man” abandoned by fellow Republicans. "Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger (A sick and demented man, who was cast aside by his Republican mates!)"

He concluded, "These were criminals that were released by a 'President' who did everything he could to destroy our Country, including the massive illegal use of the AUTOPEN!"

Trump declared Biden's pardons 'void'

Trump previously claimed in March 2025 that preemptive pardons issued by Biden to members of the House January 6 select committee are “void” and “vacant” because they were allegedly signed using an autopen.

He shared, "The ‘pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the unselect committee of political thugs, and many others, are hereby declared void, vacant, and of no further force or effect, because of the fact that they were done by autopen."

The commander-in-chief asserted, without evidence, that Biden did not personally sign the pardons for the committee members, their staff, and officers from the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Department and US Capitol Police who testified before the panel.

However, the Justice Department ruled two decades ago that a president can use an autopen to sign legislation, and the Constitution places few limits on the president’s pardon power.

Biden granted the “full and unconditional pardon” for any offenses related to the committee’s activities on January 19, one day before leaving office. Others who received preemptive pardons included Dr Anthony Fauci, retired Gen Mark Milley, and several Biden family members.
