WASHINGTON, DC: Comedian and talk show host Rosie O’Donnell delivered a scathing assessment of President Donald Trump in a video circulating online, accusing him of being ‘mentally delusioned’ and detached from reality as she revisited her long-running criticism of the Republican leader.

In the video, O’Donnell says Trump is ‘honestly psychotic,’ adding that she believes he is ‘living in his own reality.’

In the video, O’Donnell says Trump lacks empathy, compassion and basic humanity.

“He is honestly psychotic. I think the man is mentally delusional, living in his own reality,” she said.

“He has no understanding of the world, of empathy, of compassion, of basic humanity. He really is a mentally ill person,” she continued.

O’Donnell’s criticism is the latest chapter in a decades-long public feud with Trump, who has repeatedly insulted the comedian in interviews, debates, and on social media.

O’Donnell further said in the video, characterizing Trump as ‘a mentally ill person’ and arguing that his behavior has worsened with age.

She contrasted his current conduct with his first term in office, claiming he is now ‘older and less wise’ and operating on what she called ‘hyperdrive.’

References to past warnings from mental health professionals

Rosie O’Donnell kept on going about how leading psychiatrists had kept warning about Trump’s declined mental health.

“And it was, you know, there were so many doctors who came out when he was in the first go-round with this insanity, when he wasn't even on hyperdrive like he is now, older and less wise,” she said.

In the video, O’Donnell said that 'leading psychiatrists in the country' had previously spoken out, arguing Trump was 'so ill' and driven by narcissism. She framed those warnings as still relevant, suggesting his conduct since leaving office has only reinforced their concerns.

“We are psychiatrists, leading psychiatrists in the country,” she said.

“We're saying he is so ill, narcissistic, and mentally unfit that they felt it was their duty to warn the American public. Yeah. But the American public, you know, I don't know. Some of his people are under that spell of him.”

In the end O’Donnell ended her remarks by calling President Trump a ‘moron.’
