WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump snapped at ABC reporter Terry Moran​ on Tuesday, April 29, after being pressed on whether a White House photo of a migrant with MS-13 tattoos was photoshopped.

During an interview to mark the president's 100 days in office, Moran challenged Trump’s claim that a photo clearly showed Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man deported to El Salvador, with gang tattoos on his knuckles, according to Raw Story.

The image of Kilmar Abrego Garcia with gang tattoos on his knuckles, previously shared by Donald Trump, has been challenged – with critics claiming it has been digitally altered.

During the interview, Terry Moran told Trump that the photo has come under scrutiny. He said the MS-13 tattooed on Abrego Garcia's knuckles was "photshopped", per Daily Beast.

Trump shot back saying, "You think it was photoshopped? Go look at his hand. He had MS-13."

Moran noted that the tattoos weren’t visible in earlier pictures as he tried to move the exclusive Oval Office interview along with the topic of Ukraine.

Trump fired back and said, "Hey, they’re giving you the big break of a lifetime. You know, you’re doing the interview. I picked you because frankly, I never heard of you – but that’s okay. But you’re not being very nice."

The POTUS continued, "This is why people no longer believe the news – because it’s fake news. It’s such a disservice. Why don’t you just say, ‘yes,’ he does, and go on to something."

On April 18, Donald Trump shared a post trying to prove that Kilmer Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang.

Trump wrote a long note regarding his stance on Abrego Garcia’s purported ties to the street gang and shared a close-up image of a hand allegedly belonging to the man deported last month to El Salvador’s CECOT prison.



 

Trump wrote, "This is the hand of the man that the Democrats feel should be brought back to the United States, because he is such 'a fine and innocent person'."

"They said he is not a member of MS-13, even though he’s got MS-13 tattooed onto his knuckles, and two Highly Respected Courts found that he was a member of MS-13, beat up his wife, etc," he added.

Trump continued, "I was elected to take bad people out of the United States, among other things. I must be allowed to do my job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

He shared the picture of Abrego Garcia's hand with four symbols, a marijuana leaf, a smile, a cross, and a skull with three dots, along with four characters ‘M’, ‘S’, ‘1’, and ‘3’ over the symbols, allegedly representing the signs. 

Notably, Abrego Garcia was deported to the El Salvador mega prison in March over suspicion that he is a member of the violent MS-13 gang and is accused of beating his wife.
