LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump's team took jabs at Katy Perry and Kamala Harris' "declining careers" after the singer showed her support for the Democratic presidential nominee with a surprise pep talk, as per TMZ

Sources informed TMZ that Harris' campaign team convened for one of their regular virtual calls on Friday, October 18, and halfway through the meeting, the campaign's chief of staff announced that a special guest was among them.

Perry then appeared on the screen and boosted the vice president's team's morale through a pep talk.

On the Zoom call, Katy Perry reportedly praised Kamala Harris, saying the Democratic nominee was the ideal candidate for leading America due to her '"firm fearlessness."

The 'Roar' hitmaker also thanked the vice president's crew for pushing through and working hard in the days leading up to the November election.

Sources also claimed that Perry sent out a warmhearted reminder to the staffers about staying hydrated and caffeinated as they continued to fight alongside Harris.

Speaking about the surprise pep talk, an insider from Trump's team told the outlet, "Both Kamala Harris’s and Katy Perry’s careers are on decline curves that parallel our failing economy and border security under Kamala's watch."

They added, "Don't worry -- President Trump is coming back in a matter of weeks to fix things and Make America Great Again!"

Katy Perry spotted in Harris-Walz camo hat

Katy Perry was spotted in a Harris-Walz camo hat in September, shortly after Taylor Swift announced her endorsement of the vice president, according to TMZ. The 39-year-old endorsed the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris ticket in 2020.

She also allowed former presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to use her 2013 hit 'Roar' in campaign ads as well as performed at the 2016 Democratic National Convention.

Moreover, Perry voted for longtime Republican-turned-Democrat Rick Caruso in the bruising race for Los Angeles mayor in 2022. In an Instagram post, she shared, "I am voting for a myriad of reasons (see the news) but in particular because Los Angeles is a hot mess atm."
